Fortunately someone in the boardroom saw the error quickly and we know what happened from then.I can''t blame Adams for taking the job. Could we have got more from today? Arguably yes, but we have to say that Cardiff are fighting for their survival and will battle for everything. We played well at times and should we have taken our chances? Yes we should have and that is something that we look to address over the coming games. That said I don''t think we could have done much more to change the outcome of the game. Just wonder if Mr Hughton will come up with something similar after the game.

Every game in this Barclays Premier League will be very tough and we have to respect the quality that teams such as Tottenham Hotspur have. We perhaps lacked a little bit of quality going forward but on another day I feel we would have come away with a more positive result.

The way he left obviously left a sour taste. That said he is a competitive and so far relatively successful manager. He had every right to celebrate their goals today. Yes it hurts us because we are seeing it from the viewpoint of supporters, but ultimately for him it is just a job. After another couple of years he''ll most likely be away from Villa and on to the next job. Got to say good luck to him. He knows what he wants and he does what he has to to achieve that.
