Iβm shocked that the EDP has resorted to a lurid title, particularly given how free from clickbait the rest of its site isβ¦ π

What about Betty? Will that be ok? -
He'll always be remembered as The Mayor of Norwich.

I'd be amazed if we got Β£4m for Kenny. Knowing NCFC, we'll probably take a million.

I know little about Blakely, so donβt feel qualified to offer much of an opinion on them. Hopefully the club have done their research and do know - though I will say that they only have 8k TikTok followers and 5,300 on Twitter, which doesnβt sound like much of a social media profile. I mean, ffs, I have 4.5k on Twitter! (Lotus, for comparison, have 3m TikTok followers.)

His last game for us was also a poor one. And if he has another bad game for Scotland (or ends up getting dropped) then his lost confidence isn't going to be a particular plus for us next season. Let's hope he has a blinder in the next Scotland match. For them to have any chance of making progress he's going to need to, too.

Not surprising when there's three of our players in their squad, either! -

Ben Godfrey to Milan or Dortmund

Apparently the deal Weber negotiated involved a loss clause - we have to pay 15% of anything Godfrey goes for below Β£20m. -
The back heel reminds me of Sargentβs goal against Watford. This bloke seems like a ready-made replacement if Josh leaves.

I don't in any way understand why we'd need a roof. We're not playing tennis or cricket! And a bit of a potential boost in atmosphere isn't going to justify the extra millions...

Can we call him the Hoffmeister, please?

The Webber Tzoli deal is a shocker β¦

We have. I believe it's tuppence ha'penny. -
Ultimately, sadly, this might end up helping them, as they're not really built around a stand-out player. Whereas once Emi went the heart was sucked out of us. I think that would happen to them were McKenna to leave, but it looks like they might have now dodged that particular bullet. Anyway, my copying strategy will be to pretend it's not happening if they do well, and to take great delight if their Prem stay ends up being a failure like our recent efforts!

Another thing interesting about this is how quickly, given the new information, it's gone from being how funny that Fortuna blew it the other night β now we can get Tzolis back and get more money for him β to we instantly still have to sell him and get 2.5million (or whatever) less. There's probably a moral about greed/counting chickens there somewhere. As well as one about not negotiating ill thought through deals... -
It's called Sizewell!

I wouldn't be surprised if they flog him straight on. Are they able to do that, I wonder? Will there be a sell-on clause. If there is and it's good, from NCFC's point of view, as the rest of the deal, then we'll probably end up having to pay some more to the new buying club! Still, we are where we are, and this is another good example of why we're better off without Webber. Though, it does show up the oddness of his wife still being at the helm... -
Because Neil Adams's last stint in charge worked out so well, didn't it! And as for 'the whole purpose of Brexit'...

Villa are apparently lining up Barkley. Heβs well above our current target level.

Weekend games 2- Leeds Southampton

I thought 2-0 was the most-dangerous score in football, according to commentators! π
