  1. They need to be careful though Emmanuel-Thomas is Cardiff''s sixth loan signing this season joining Andy Keogh, Jason Koumas, Craig Bellamy, Danny Drinkwater and Seyi Olofinjana. Ramsey makes 7. As we all know, they cant all play.
  2. Didn''t even realise KP was still playing. He must be touching 40! Too old and doesn''t fit with type of squad PL is building. We don''t need a Premier League ego coming into the dressing room.
  3. Sven is insane. He is trying to sign has beens and letting go one of their excellent youngsters. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/d/derby_county/9365202.stm Thought he was excellent against us earlier this season. Would love to sign him on loan.
  4. Whoops. Forgot to add Russell Martins name to that last paragraph.
  5. I''ve been told (could be duff info) that Smith will be released next week. Also, Blackburn had a 500k offer turned down but are expected to come back with 900k plus add ons
  6. Bloody Sky!! That''s a defeat and a red card for us then. Leave us alone Sky, we don''t want your help.
  7. Burnley now onto target number 3. Official approach made for Eddie Howe. This could get even more embarrassing for them
  8. Absolutely horrible story, we were driving back that way on Saturday and saw 4 Ambulances driving past us. Really does make you sick to think that you aren''t safe just walking along the street. If there was an infant walking with them we could be on the hunt for a murderer. Would I be right in assuming this person couldn''t have been driving that car about for that long as surely any Police car would have picked up on the ANPR that this car had no tax/insurance or owner. Wouldn''t have got away with driving on the roads for that long, would they ?
  9. Paul Lambert is a man of his word. If he says he never had any intentions of leaving then I believe him. Your sauce can go back on the shelf with the others from last week.
  10. Has to be what Dogger suggested. Much like the way Beckham was treated last season at OT. If you boo him from the start it will only fire him up more and he will end up burying Russell Martin.
  11. So the next question has to be....... Who can remember what sell on % we had ? *Enter Pete*
  12. I don''t think you ever change the back 4 unless its injury or you are chasing a game. The only thing that makes me think Barnett will play is that Chopra is quick, Nelson and Whitbread are awesome in the air and QPR didn''t have a real pacey striker who would look to run in behind them but with Chopra you know he will always play on the shoulder. A foot race between him and Nelson would just be cruel. I reckon on current form Russell Martin will be fine with Bellamy especially with the whole crowd up for it and will be cheering everytime he makes a tackle on him.
  13. I know its early and we don''t know exactly who is or isn''t 100% fit but lets assume that Barnett, Nelson and Whitbread are ready for Saturday. I''m struggling to work out which partnership would work best....they all have cases. Nelson = Shut out QPR and hasn''t put a foot wrong when called upon this season Whitbread = Shut out QPR and looked every bit a proper footballing defender against LO on Saturday. Very similar to Ward in being comfortable on the ball Barnett = Been awesome all season and had 1 poor''ish game against Pompey I guess its a good problem to have and if they all stay fit then its going to get harder when Ward comes back in the next week or so. So, who gets the nod this week and who do you see as the long term partnership for the rest of the season? I genuinely can''t call it so was interested to see what other peoples thoughts were
  14. Thanks Webbo. So you are stepping up next with the ''reliable soirce'' ? Good luck to you. Chris Eagles when they don''t have a manager ? I''d love it but I don''t see it. Especially with the way PL has mugged them off today.
  15. I''ve read about 899 threads today. Be a dear and give me a clue which ones....
  16. Under previous managers we always had people on here revealing new signings before they were made official. Correct me if I am wrong but that doesn''t happen with PL''s signings. They just appear when they are confirmed by the club. I think PL plays everything close to his chest and I doubt anyone on this forum really has the inside track on what PL is doing.
  17. How does the yolk taste Tim? Consider you and ''your sauce'' struck off the insider list.
  18. His contract didn''t have 2 years it was due this summer. If true, a good news day all round....in the end
  19. IF he left, the thing that worries me is the next guy has an awful lot to live up to. We are now used to going away from home and attacking teams and playing for the win. Not a lot of managers share that way of thinking. We have had 18 months of seeing those kinds of tactics and would automatically expect any new manager to follow the same suit because we clearly have players that are capable of it.
  20. Also who is the EDP/Pinkun Journo? I follow a few of them and not seen anything.
  21. I think some people on here are being a bit disrespectful to Burnley. Yes, we have more fans then them but is that really how we want to compare ourselves to others? Some people on here are starting to sound like Leeds fans. Paul Lambert will do want Paul Lambert wants to do, we knew that when he got him.
  22. On one hand its good news but on the other he could just kill all the speculation with a few simple words. My concern is what will the players make of all this. The only winners from all this are going to be Leyton Orient.
