Play off final
Sing up the river end replied to Daz Sparks's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Got some very good friends that are Derby fans,so I''m split.I''d like the away day there ,but hope for them they go up.We have a better record v QPR, so might be better if Derby did go up. -
To use McNallys word , "we kept CH in january because there was no one available" .So where was Neil Adams in january then ??? no idea

Chelsea 0 - 3 Norwich
Sing up the river end replied to The Great Mass Debater's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I''m surprised by anyone that takes any pole seriously.I mean even something like Nash for POTS might happen. The internet is that full of idiots -
In your opinion are we down?
Sing up the river end replied to SeattleCanary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
If the clueless one is still in charge for the Fulham game (which I think he will be ) then YES we will go down. We''re doing nothing away from home , why should it change next weekend ?.Fulham will want the game more than us and are a better team than we are under Hughton. -
Get Adams In TONIGHT.............
Sing up the river end replied to #'s topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
This next game is our biggest chance of a win this season. With clueless Hughton we will lose away again.Something new is worth a shout, new manager syndrome or whatever, it''s something that just might work.Anything is better than what we''ve got. -

Steve Bruce''s 88th minute winner v the scum to get us in the Milk Cup final :) -
there's something about Wesley...
Sing up the river end replied to RodneyTrottersFC's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Wes sometimes infuriates me giving the ball away , he can be terrible for a few games , BUT he is more than capable of helping us to a couple of wins this season.Who knows those couple of wins may even keep us up.We don''t have anyone else to sit behind a striker and take control. No he''s not the greatest number 10 around , if he was we couldn''t afford him.But he really does have to be given a run in the team as he''s our best hope of creativity.Sorry to use that word CH. -
Drop Turner for Bassong?
Sing up the river end replied to OxShireCanaryYellow's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I think Bennett is the best CB we have.Turner & Bass I feel have one mistake a game in them, still very good but with Bennett I am more confidant .So for me Bass just but wouldn''t mind Turner with Bennett.Bennett has marked anyone you throw at him out of the game Aguero , Benteke & Lukaka to name a few. -
Snodgrass' right foot
Sing up the river end replied to The Great Mass Debater's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
At the moment he hasn''t got a right or left foot for crossing. He''s been terrible.I would never question his work rate though.Just having a bad spell everyone has them. -
Call me old fashioned
Sing up the river end replied to Zak Van Burger's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Are supporters seriously not looking forward to the game? Or are they just saying it for effect. There''s no law that says you have to watch it or post on here about it....
I would say people mean it as a footballing prospect.I''ve been to stoke away the last couple of times before and it''s hardly been exciting football.as far as Norwich games go this is the one I look forward to the least to be honest.Of course as it''s norwich so I''m still bothered about it , but I do try to avoid anything to do with stoke , unless it''s darts. -
Yet another Murphy post.

The Snakepit
Sing up the river end replied to Myra Hawtree's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
At least they can sing "on the ball city" at the correct speed ,unlike e block who seem to be in a race to finish it. -
They were only talking of around £5 million, sounds like a right bargain to me.Would love to get him , always rated him highly.

England v Scotland friendly

As long as all the Norwich lads come back in one peace ready for the start of the season I couldn''t care less what happens. -
VOTE! Whittaker or Martin?
Sing up the river end replied to Hank shoots Skyler's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Is what because he''s a bit ''gobby'' (which he isn''t... No idea where you''ve got that from...)? He''s just a better player, or more consistent. Or something. Because Whittaker who more people on here seem to think is better, failed to regain his place for pretty much last four months of the season, after being injured for about a month (so not serious, didn''t require weeks to regain fitness).
I can''t understand why he never got his place back.Don''t get me wrong I like Rus , but if he''s finding a winger tough to mark he just drops away towards the centre, leaving us very exposed, this happens a lot.Personally I think he''s good cover but Whittaker has a lot more class. But this game is all about opinions.Don''t forget just because he doesn''t get his place back doesn''t mean he is a better or worse player, it just means he''s less of a Hughton player than Rus is.I think it''s good we have them both. -
