1. He''s a player who can create something out of nothing. Sounds like what we needed today in a very dull game.
2. I''m sure there was some people swearing when fighting outside the West Ham ground! i was just using that as a point that it could be worse and adults can take it much further. So can''t be put on certain ages.
3. When i''ve been watching the Doc i have been a fan of his because of his loyalty and wins a lot of headers etc. However at least once a game he does something that makes me wonder how he plays at this level, it could be one of his many slips or clumsyness. If he did a mistake once every 10 games or something then i might be able to bare it but its become to be a common thing. So i think either way it should probably be Nelson or another replacement, unless the Doc changes his ways with some miracle!
4. I''m afraid i wasn''t there on Tuesday so i don''t know about that. But you are always going to get that at football grounds as you said, on the street yer thatis stupid and everything. Im not saying they are innocent or anything. It can be adults as well though was what i was saying, id rather have some swearing than what took place between West Ham and Millwall (a very rare example i know, just stating that it could be worse even if swearing on the street isn''t right).
5. I don''t think all the bad language is due to ''youths.'' I think there have been some adults swearing as well, should we limit the amount of adults going into the game too and complain. I am 19 years old so not exactly a youth and i think it''s unfair to narrow it all down to ''youths.'' Yes there are bad language with youths but there is with adults too so it goes both ways.
6. im listening to the game but i missed who he said is captain for us, anyone know?
7. Did he have any good saves to make? or was it fairly routine?
8.

Possibly the most pointless post ever but hey!
its called a sense of humour!. Maybe when you''ve gotten a bit older you might develop one
Top joke though! I am quite old enough to have a sense of humour cheers!
9. Possibly the most pointless post ever but hey!
10. Just wondering what you all think about the current keepers we have to choose from? Theo - quite clearly isn''t looking like he''s going to get another chance, looks like a bit of a waste of time. Rudd - decent youngster from what i know but don''t know too much about him. Alnwick - looks ok but not exactly solid Seems different compared to the times of keepers such as green, marshall, or even gunn. These were the keepers who could make a save that would inspire the rest of the team and lift the spirits and voices of the crowd.
11. Cureton needs support though, it makes it even harder for players when they''re struggling when their own fans aren''t giving them a good reception, especially when he loves the club.
12. From what i''ve seen hes lost a lot of weight compared to before, gave the team some needed passion to the team and created soem chances for our strike force
13.
GK Michael Theoklitos DF Gary Doherty DF John Otsemobor DF Simon Charlton DF Thomas Helveg MF Robert Eagle MF Mark Fotheringham MF Matthew Gill MF Andy Hughes ST Peter Thorne ST Chris Killan
Some people have hughes in it, i don''t agree. He may not have been the most naturally skilled player (in any way) but his passion and effort is something that i for one miss at our club today with some of the players
14.
Theres only one paul lambert, one paul lambert, He won 7-1, so we fired the gunn, We walking in a Lambert wonderland.   I put this up the other day, we''ve sung it at Brentford and on Saturday, but no one joins in, we just get abused. I really don''t think its that bad.
Thats a gooden! need to get people involved
15. Didn''t think i''d be able to say this about a defender but he had a brilliant performance against Sunderland. Won a lot of balls in the end and intercepted at crucial times, as well as supporting the midfield. Makes you wonder even more what Roeder was doing as he told him he had no future! OTBC
16.
Very very good atmosphere. To be losing 4-1 but still get right behind the team is a tribute to the fans of this club. Even Andy Reid will be saying he enjoyed the banter I expect
Agreed. 4-1 isn''t exactly something to be proud about, but why should the fans have to stay quiet or moan at the team, we deserve to enjoy the game and i think getting behind the team will raise the spirits more than booing them, leaving the ground or giving up on them
17.
Saturday was ok....i actually applauded him and he is my least fave player. But last night he was out of position for 2 goals. Cant believe your backing him for that.
Tottally agree, out of position and still doesn''t look like he''s putting the effort or commitment in
18. it''s pathetic, i don''t understand what it proves. There''s passion for your team and then there''s stupidity, nothing like this would ever make someone a more loyal fan over someone else. I hope all the innocent people got out the stadium and home ok and all the idiots get arrested and banned
19. wouldnt like to see the ratings for colchester or brentford if this is for a good performance!
20. and apparently he went through about 15 bottles of water! shows he was putting his sweat into it!
21. Just wanted to share a few thoughts and feelings about Norwich that i have. Great result today, hopefully it''s a sign of things to come! I think a problem this club has these days (as well as poor managers and players) is that there is big expectation. And before i get any batterings of critism of being pessimistic, back when we won the Championship and gave it a good go in the prem was that there wasn''t much expectation and we kind of drifted up without being noticed. As a crowd i remember going to games where we were 2-0 down and our fans were still much louder, getting behind the team, that was a time i would be proud to be going to games, even if we weren''t doing great at the time. However now there is way too much expectation from us fans (and i don''t pretend to be innocent of this) and this effects the way we support the team. Im not saying we should pretend not to think we should go up or anything like that, but nowadays asoon as we go 1-0 down people start booing the team straight away and not even giving our lads a chance to get back into it. It was far more effective back in the days when we''d let in a goal (obviously be very annoyed, we are human) but then the songs would still be coming out and you could see a reaction from the players. If we are passionate in a positive way, then the players will be too. I''m not saying it''s all our fault etc, because players should have passion for the game either way but i think this is a big change in the club i love.
22. Sour grapes after he decided to go to a bigger club really. 3 games into the season and you think we are getting relegated? Wow so are Liverpool going down from the prem aswell? they lost their 1st game!
23. Wow it''s funny seeing these people with too much time on their hands but to come on another team''s forum and talk rubbish. It''s also funny that they seem to be so cocky considering their team is top after 3 games. Yes we have been s**t so far this season, yes we did get spanked 7-1. But will colchester finish top? i dont think so. So get a life and stop wasting our time with your pointless, pathetic and go back to school little boy.
24. Alnwick - 6 - wasnt really at fault for much to be fair Spillane - 6 - panicked a bit but much better than semmy would have been, least he put effort in Doherty - 5 - clumsy, gave away pointless free kicks as he usualy does. he did win some vital headers etc but this wasn''t his best night Askou - 7 - i actually thought he had a decent game, put his body about, won some headers. i also noticed it was him picking the ball out of the net once tj had scored, everyone else just stopped drury - 5 - got made a fool of by their winger, although wasnt supported by hoolahan very well whaley - 6 - didnt do too much wrong, but didn''t get in the game much hoolahan - 6 - a few great runs and touches but wasn''t very effective and didn''t help drury out enough gill - 4 - lost the ball alot, didn''t dominate at all, should have gone off earlier TJ - 5 - pretty invisible throughout the game but did give us our goal holt - 5 - i thought he had a very poor game, didnt go up for many headers, didn''t link with cody and missed chances where he should have jus put his footy through the ball! big mac - 6 - did a lot of running but had chances he should have put away hughes - 6 - didn''t have time to impact the game but didn''t do much wrong semmy - 6 - i still don''t know why he put this guy on when clearly another striker (maric) would have been better martin - 7 - i know he didn''t  get long on the pitch but he actually created chances and took some shots, we barely had any shots in the 2nd half (that was worth calling ''a shot'') until he came on
25.
I think Adeyemi and Hughes would remind a lot of fans of Francis/Safri. Adeyemi seems to be that box to box midfielder we have been lacking for years now, and Hughes isn''t the strongest of players but has technical ability, passing ability and a good midfield brain. Please Lambert play Hughes and Yemi
Definately agree with you. Gill gave the ball away constantly, was negative, TJ was pretty invisible around the pitch
