Given that I'm not wetting my knickers over the £33m + add-ons deal, reportedly making it worth up to £38m overall - which is close to £40m, it's clearly close to what I expected for him. It's a crap move club-wise, but no-one else offered an acceptable deal and we need/want the money.

It's no shock at all he's left, or even for the amount of money being quoted, just a poor choice of club, but then if no-one offered £33m (or more) and we want the money, what else did we expect?
