I only had about 8 miles to go to the match as I was living in Hackney (dire place) at the time. Very patchy memory of the whole day. I was a member of Capital Canaries in those days.

I read a story a few weeks ago, I don't know how true the content is, that Mourhino is bigging up Skipp in order to get a bigger price when they sell him. He apparently wants more money to spend and this is one way of getting it. If we get promoted, £15m? I think it would be worth it.

Askou stated a few weeks ago that his ambition is to manage Norwich City at some point. We obviously made a good impression on him when he was with us.

One consideration for any transfer to Rangers... his salary. Would they equal, or even come close, to the amount we pay him? Wer Sham were also said to be interested last window/

Never. Nobody has suggested Lee Croft yet, thankfully..Only player I can recall being successful on their return was Flecky.

I am not sure of that. Gibson will take his place, a left footed player will improve several aspects of our defence. I suspect that Godfrey will go on to become a top player, but he is far from that at the moment. Gibson has more experience at a high level, and an England call up attests to the standard we hope he can attain whilst with us.

Living out here in the Philippines I get little chance to see and assess the youth teams progress. Streaming matches would be a great help to us expats. This afternoons kick off is a more convenient 7.30pm for me so hoping to get a good stream to watch it.
