  1. It's tough for Wagner at the moment, in a good way. Idah showing there why he should be in the team. McCallum staking a claim and genuinely can feel hard done by given his performance today and last week. Sargent back. Rowe again not terribly in the game - but you can't drop him given how he can come to life at any moment. Onel's hard work, as always, despite his inability to influence games offensively. I'm genuinely not sure what our best XI is at the moment.
  2. Not enough praise for that cross. Was it Sainz or Nunez? But was perfectly weighted for an attack at the back post; worrying it took our left back to attack it, though.
  3. Oh look. Another older male who can't recognise blatant, obvious misogyny when it's waved in front of his ignorant little face.
  4. Nuts isn't it? A threads been deleted, I know IM GOING TO START A THREAD ABOUT IT. Just move on. We have lots of actually relevant things to talk about.
  5. Given that Idah is doing well at the moment, has Gibson become the club scapegoat now?
  6. What a refreshingly fantastic thread this is - full of really excellent viewpoints based on well reasoned opinions with sensible, reasonable discussion where contrary views are held. Bravo.
  7. Chair and Whittaker will cost way more than we can afford.
  8. I would be on the blower to West Ham to try and persuade them to let us have Connor Coventry and Ben Johnson. Both are down to their last years contracts and have not featured for the first team, both would likely be available and both would likely go straight into the first team. Johnson would be my first choice left back (although played at right back, he's known to be ambidextrous and has played left back for West Ham) and Connor Coventry is the sort of combative midfielder we are crying out for. A lot of similarities to Oli Skipp. Was very impressive for Rotherham on loan last season. I'd then let one of McCallum or Dimi go if the price was right, let Springett and Jaden Warner out on loan and Bob's your Uncle.
  9. Seeing this news has prompted me back on this forum. What a bizarre move this is. Undeniably done great to mould a young, hard working team at Plymouth, but strikes me as a real risk for a Stoke side that believes it should be competing in the promotion picture to appoint a manager with limited Championship experience. Also can't understand why Sunderland would sack Mowbray. Seems a strange move too. Can see Mowbray ending up at Swansea.
  10. That's because you've posted over 54000 times! Not a surprise you don't notice anyone else's posts 🤣
  11. This is the Pink Un forum mate. Everyone calls everyone names.
  12. Oh that's a nice gesture. Actually quite tempted by it myself. Wonder if I can get the day off....
  13. This forum should have been closed down an age ago. It doesn't exist to offer reasoned discussion. It's just a massive game of one upsmanship played out in purile fashion. Hence why I have stopped coming here. Get rid. It's a stain on the name of our club.
  14. All of a sudden I know what I've been missing in my life.
  15. This. Neither Dimi or McCallum have shown consistency. We need to find players who are consistently 7 out of 10 rather than continue to accept a player who plays 8 out of 10 every 5th game, but otherwise produces a 4 out of 10. Perhaps a bit harsh on Dimi who has been better this season, but has long been my view on him.
  16. Does anyone else get the feeling he doesn't really value the time he had here? Reading his interview comments just now, he speaks entirely about Ipswich and doesn't refer to his time here at all. Now that might be editorial cutting his comments short - or it might be because he really doesn't have a lot of affection for this club at all. The thing is, I've felt this way before about him when listening to him talking about the club. It kind of makes me sad - because even despite his time at Ipswich, I still hold a lot of affection for his time at the club. It's probably my favourite time as a Norwich City fan (slightly edging out the first promotion season under Farke and Wembley under Alex Neil). Has anyone else felt this way when listening to/reading about him?
  17. One of those we could be 3 up, but also 3 down. Why this team are so insistent on shooting themselves in the foot is beyond me.
  18. If your mental health is affected by football, you need to take a step back.
  19. Someone clearly hasn't read his post.
  20. He was far from the worst though.
