  1. No, and your views are formed on recency bias. Bryan Gunn, Glenn Roeder and Brian Hamilton were worse. Peter Grant is also possibly worse but he has characteristics which might save him. As for Idah and Hernandez they don't even make the bottom 8 for their respective positions.
  2. Doesn't make it alright does it? It's a bit like trying to argue someone robbed of their rolex was in the wrong because they shouldn't wear it.
  3. That'll be interesting to keep an eye on. Maybe might answer how a player makes such quick progression elsewhere when compared to here.
  4. Would say we don't need a fifth striker or an eighth keeper but yeah not a massive priority for me either.
  5. Amazing that this sort of attitude exists by Norwich fans towards their own club. I hope we win, but my prediction is we lose narrowly.
  6. All happening this year... 1. Olympics 2. Leap year 3. Euros 4. Likely general election 5. US elections 6. Elections in 38 other major countries 7. First crewed mission to the moon in 58 years 8. A solar eclipse If you thought 2023 was a busy year, 2024 is shaping up to be something else.
  7. You can't score if you aren't provided the service though. Genuinely think our strikers are not the problem.
  8. I think so. A defence which has no one capable of playing out from. Not so much an issue at this level - except when you play a tactic that demands this. How has Webber left us in a position without a player crucial to making our tactical system work? Full backs that can't cross. Again, not an issue if they're tactically allowed to cut inside. But in this system they are employed to provide the width so the wide players tuck in and play behind and alongside the striker. A midfield compromised of players who don't offer the defence the sort of support they need. One of them has to drop into defence to offer the ability to play out from the back, leaving massive space ahead which is occupied by players who have no defensive nous. That means we sacrifice a striker to play someone like Barnes who not only is tasked with contributing offensively, but having to drop back to support the midfield who have no clue defensively. It's about as frustrating as it can get.
  9. The last time he brought a team to Carrow Road with us playing poorly, his Swansea team wiped the floor with us 6-2 and our performance was one of the worst performances I've ever seen in professional football ever. Now he's coming with a team in incredible form, with Premier League players. Ominous.
  10. I couldn't understand why McLean was moved to a more advanced position and Sara dropped into the role Nunez has been playing. Just odd.
  11. He's okay. My concern is I rate him being Sargent and Idah, so I probably wouldn't sign him permanently unless we sell one or both of them first.
  12. I mean if we could get Jesus to leave his cushy job in heaven that would be great
  13. There are some really good co-commentators that would lose out if this happened. Ryan Jarvis who has recently been involved is good. Stephen Elliot who they seem to use when Norwich go up north, also really good. Leon Barnett and Mark Rivers two others who I'm always quite impressed by. Flo Allen was excellent too and I doubt her main role as NCFC ladies general manager would allow her involvement on a full time basis. Personally, I'm happy to stick to how it is if it means we get better quality summarisers on a rotational basis than compromise on someone who isn't as good just for the sake of chemistry.
  14. If he's not going to sign a new deal I suspect selling him this summer is going to be a necessity. Would be a shame. In that circumstance, a loan back may be the best we can hope for.
  15. Hardly. Why would we know how close he is to the first team? Surely no one but Wagner would know this.
