1. Fair scores I think. I though we deserved 4-1 too, it should have been too, Holt had a great chace to either score of set Wilbraham with a sitter but took too long and the chance was gone. The atmosphere was very good, some really good singing and banter with the rather quite Leicester fans. That fat drumming guy always gets some grief! that "have you ever seen you ****" chant made me laugh. I was impressed by Fox tonight, he looked pretty tidy and covered a lot of ground, as did Crofts as usual. I though Wilbraham looked a handfull too, good hold up play and worked well with Holt and the other attacking midfielders. I worried that with two up front and Wes that we''d be a bit weak in the middle, but this was not the case, Wes seemed to be here there and everywhere. What a great night, i''ve waited years to see a win at the Walkers Library.
2. He looked pretty useful too.
3. plus it was awarded 10 seconds after the 3 mins of stoppage time were up, i''d feel gutted too!
4. Yes, I am sure he will. Also, are people forgetting how impotent the rest of our attack is (minus Holt of course).
5. I do think it will be another day of frustration, always seems to be the case when the game should be ours based on recent statistics (always seems to be the way).
6. I think you should be able to laugh at what you like, each to his / her own. It doesn''t make me a racist / sexist etc. People are too sensitive, I wouldn''t begrudge people of different ethnicicities laughing at jokes about us whiteys, and they do! In fact, one the pakistanis I work with is likely to send that sort of joke. Just me opinion.
7. I must admit it''s not easy to tell if the OP is being genuine or sarcastic in my opinion.
8. Not really aware of Laura Marling to be honest, but I like a fair amount of folk music so I guess it''s good. The nominations were devoid of guitar based music, which means either there wasn''t any worth listening too, or the evolution of music for the younger generations has changed.
9. well not the sh*te on the Brits at the moment, how un-inspirational, it has to be the worst ever Brits. Oh maybe I am just getting old. It really is awful apart from the Arcade Fire and the Mumfords. How bad were Take That? over rated dross.
10. KC, people often go of on tangents during posts. I don''t even think I''d gone off on a particularly big tangent given your opening gambit, it was kind of asking for it!The only thing that scared me at the football game was the cumulative cost of bottled water (which I had to buy since you couldn''t take your own in and there were no water fountains) over the 4 hour period; this was necessary to prevent my dying of dehydration or sun stroke - scandalous really.

Am I the only one that thinks American footy is utter toss?
No. But you are the only one who felt the need to post on a thread about it to tell us. So good for you.
Oh, didn''t realise that I had to be Pro American football to post here, my appologies!
Well its a thread discussing the biggest game of the season in American football.... I''d find it a bit weird if someone posted on one of the match threads saying ''footballs a bit shit isn''t it?''
Not really, since this is a football / sports based website I would guess that many people have an opinion of the national game of America. To the best of my knowledge such a subjective topic divides opinions widely. In a similar way I would imagine a thread about cycling would be full of people saying they are drug cheats and some saying they are the ultimate athletes. Sport is about opinions. And yes, I have watched it, in fact i''ve had to endure it live, all 4 bloody hours of it.

14.
2 defeats in 18 league matches and 4th in the league - yes we are really "struggling"........
cheers for posting that, I was going to say that too............Stuggling, my arse.
15. Can''t remember what it''s called by I have a cd single by the Telescopes. Just you-tubed them and found a couple of other gems from that era.... The Paris Angels - perfume followed by Northside - shall we take a trip. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-iUiIL1oLI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9AShsOgwCG0 now listening to Neds Atomic Dustbin.
16. I love Ride - Nowhere, it is a classic, porbably my most played cd of the early 90''s. I even had the t-shirt of the cover art in both white and black. Just listened to some of the Lush songs, wow, De-Luxe really takes me back, now I remember how fit the lead singer was. Great memories.
17.

Well Graham I seem to have put them back in the box and then in the loft! I know one was spooky.
Well here''s some of their videos if anyone''s memory needs jogging, or anyone else who missed them first time round would like to take a look:For Love | Superblast! | De-Luxe | Nothing Natural | Hypocrite | Desire LinesWouldn''t bother with their third album Lovelife though as it''s a really crap Britpop cash-in.  Other than that I think they''re a very under-rated band and put out a lot of really good songs in their time.
I''ll have a listen at home tonight. I guess back then I was in to the "shoe gazing" music, Ride, My Bloody Valentine, Chapterhouse, Sugar, Cocteux Twins, Swervedriver and others. There was some good stuff around that time.
18. I saw it on Sky last night and had a chuckle! it was not on when they reviewed the game, just as a precursor to the goals.
19. Sounds quite harsh, but then you were there and I wasn''t! but getting 3 points under such circumstances is always a good sign.
20. Well Graham I seem to have put them back in the box and then in the loft! I know one was spooky. Next time i''m up there i''ll get them out, I just have too many cd''s lying around all over the place at the moment, I am trying to have a bit of a cull.As for me, the White Lies albums seems good also listening to Thomas Dolby, a most under-rated 80''s electronic musician. One of my favourite albums that I stuck on my iPod during my 10 mile run at the weekend was Frames by Oceansize, how they are not better know i''ll never know.
21. not happy with this one, nevertheless, good luck big guy.
