Having been there last night in the lower tier , which is plenty far enough away from the pitch. I suspect those cheap seats are up the top of the upper tiers where you need binoculars. was talking to a West Ham season ticket holder last night, his ticket was somewhere in the region of £220 but his seat is right at the back, he said it took him ages to get used to it as the players are so far away its a ground I wouldn’t want to revisit, there is no atmosphere coupled with the long walk back to the station and the kettling of the crowd

It’s my experience of hearing many in the snakepit booing the taking of the knee…if you hear anyone booing the same thing in other parts of the ground of any age then they are no better…Do you hear 50% of the over 70s around you booing the knee ? Just to reiterate racists are not ok in any part of the ground and should all be banned

If you think the racists in the snakepit are the core of this football club it’s you who has the problem

Those that do boo the taking of the knee mostly in the snakepit ( at least from where I sit in the Barclay) seem to be accepted by those around them
