No. Its true, they are a fantastic side. I don't think buying the league is good for football, but they are a great team.

Got to be Keelan. Great keeper, most appearances and great left hook. -

The Lion & Castle: opening 21st July

Also after counting the heads in the crowd, they've got the attendance wrong. 😞 -
We're f##ked then.

Boris gone.

Very true. But on those wages a club with the philosophy of ours was a complete failure. Also Krul I believe was fit at the point of signing.

Wages and performance.

Generally it costs more to finish in the the top two. Hence why if it's a season where less funded clubs finish higher like this season, you'll see teams like us lower down. Not just damning on us but if true, us, Watford, Stoke and Hull etc. -

Can we trust these figures? If true, not good value and poor leadership. Just looking foward to the start of the season. -
Hang your heads in shame NCFC
Unthink road replied to tsj1999's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
No matter what you say. Ncfc should not hold their head in shame. I have loved this club for 50 plus seasons and we have never deserved to hold our heads down. We all have our own ideas how the club should be run. -
No. That's going to be repurposed, as the big screen in the Lion and Castle.

‘What if you don’t make it?’

Sad, but the drive and focus you need to play professional football doesn't always allow for study. It also raises the question, is classroom education that important? -
Great days. I loved football more back then. Hopefully the Scottish leagues get better exposure. They are miles away from the top flight leagues, but have soul to them.

Amazing how Scottish sides have slipped. In my day they were top sides. Scotland fed England with fantastic players.

Be no worse off than now. Under the current stewardship we were a Premier league team last season. Luton etc could be top flight clubs in a month's time. Money and good recruitment gives us the best chance, if not just good recruitment.

Fair point. I would like him and Sara to pick the pace up next season, fitness and sharpness with the ball. If they do I would hope we are going to be in the play offs at least. They are the two who have shown some kind of ability to hurt teams. With Gibbs and Sorenson showing really good potential, we have the core of an exciting midfield.

You never see him and Putin in the same room. What has Delia created. They'll make movies about this. -

Since Webber has been here, we've had a pandemic, wars across the globe and inflation out of control. You do the maths! -
I think sometimes he hits a pass a admires it, rather than bursting into space for a return. Beundia was fantastic for passing and moving with pace from standstill.

Parma’s State of the Nation
Unthink road replied to Parma Ham's gone mouldy's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
You definitely need to pay your best players the market value. We should have for a season with Beundia. But in an ideal world for us, we'd be developing the next player alongside. If wage demands increase, which they will, you sell and bring in the replacement for the replacement. Very hard to do in practice, but this is the only way you don't get lumbered with huge commitments if relegated. We need a conveyor belt of players. Doesn't seem to be that way at the moment. You also need to retain your scouts etc. Can't afford to just let them leave, for a club like us they are as important as the coach.
