You can't be that keen to convert him into cash if you are so willing to terminate / not renew his contract. Sell him by all means, not renew is silly and pay his contract to terminate is Cambridge levels of "look at me I want attention so I say something absurd / inflammatory".

Hugill is and always has been rubbish. It's not his fault we signed him but it was a terrible signing at the start of last season and would be an abomination in the Premier League. He can control it further than most players can kick it and looks f*cked after five minutes. Nowhere near good enough and never was.

I'm in two minds on this. Part of me thinks he's being a d*ck, but the other part doesn't see any real evidence, just guesswork. So I don't want to condemn him. However, if he is a bad egg, we probably want to hide that (as much as we could), so somebody actually buys him. We'll find out after he has left, but personally don't want to jump to conclusions, even though 2+2 probably does = 4.

Personally, I'd replace: Hanley - Andy O, Williams - Dimi, Gilmour - McLean (or a random member of the crowd), Cantwell - A new signing (depressingly, nobody is any good).

Would be awesome for us but less awesome for him. It's a signing I'd love as he is clearly brilliant and much better than anything we have. The trouble is, why would he come here when there are many, many more clubs who would be interested in him who could offer him much better players to play with and more money and not losing every week? No chance of him coming here. Unfortunately.

Why not try Angus Gunn there? Big lad, His dad was pretty handy outfield too. No, maybe we should sign a proper defensive midfielder rather than shoehorn other players in. I am and will continue to be absolutely shocked at how the most obviously lacking position in our team was not addressed in the summer (Normann whilst our best midfielder so far, he is not a defensive midfielder). It's a massive, massive failure and how virtually every fan can see it but the professionals who are employed for this sort of thing did not see it as a number one priority shocks me and raises question marks about their competence.

0-0's will not help us. We need wins. If they must be draws, a few 2-2's will be better as at least it will show we can score, give some confidence to the attackers. As a wise man once said, if we don't score, we hardly ever win. And we need wins.

I'm not sure playing 6 defenders and a defensive midfielder who has played more games in defence than anywhere else will solve our truly, truly awful goal scoring problems.

I'm also sick to death of watching Billy Gilmour. He's not awful. He's just no better than what we have. He should not be an automatic starter, he should not have the hype. He's just average.
