Every season we get a number of posters blaming one player for our poor results. As if leaving that one player out is the answer to the team's problems.

I'm sure the VAR room has a list of PL teams based on wealth and influence and they just check a teams place on that list to decide on their decisions. All VAR has done is give the EPL the opportunity to ensure the wealthiest clubs get the decisions in their favour.

In all honesty, I don't see Normann being the answer to any of our problems when playing as a defensive midfielder, strikes me its not his forte. Sorensen and Lees Melou with Normann further forward. Much prefer to see us play either 4-4-2 or 3-5-1 though.

Dean Smith's presser this morning is like a breath of fresh air. Farke's tenure was for the most part one of the most exciting in recent times but it was fairly obvious this season that he has lots to learn about top level managment and the EPL was a step too far. Now we appear to go into games with confidence and a determination not to roll over if things start to go wrong.
