1.

My point being that if he has this problem do we really want another player fighting for a place only to go out with a injury that will send him back (Kennedy)? i don''t know this player but if you peeps on here think he''s worth the risk then so be it...just worries me us wasting money on another player with "risk factors"
Apparently it hasn''t been confirmed yet. My main concern is that he''s being lined up as a replacement for Croft and/or Hoolahan (and/or A N Other).  To fritter away the proceeds from selling players on replacing them with yet more loanees would be totally unacceptable imo.
Agreed. I think this is paving the way for Croft''s departure.
But is Gow a similar position to Croft?  I thought he was he attacking midfield, rather than a wide player? If anyone goes, it could be a central midfielder.  We have plenty as it is.
 2.
The only Auto Renew tickets are the people who paid by 12 month direct debit. These direct debits continue indefinitely until you cancel them.
Thanks.  Due to various circumstances beyond my control, I haven''t made a decision yet and may not be able to for a while.  Didn''t want to see £400 disappear without warning - I''ll check the small print in future just in case!
 3. At the risk of being described as a "board basher" I think its a rather cunning and cheeky move by the club.  But hey, its perfectly legal so who am I to complain?  I have to be honest and say I didn''t know they were doing this and I reckon a fair few others don''t. I''m guessing they won''t auto-renew it for those who just paid it off over the counter last year (such as myself)?  Or are they?
 4.

Just confirmed on the BBC that Alan Gow has signed on loan until the end of the season. Good business again, shame it''s 6 months late in this case...
BBC Wolves would not take a risk on Gow after a medical revealed a "bio-mechanical" problem. Doesn''t this worry anyone???
Will be ironic if he''s in the team on Tuesday! But yes, it is a worry.  At least its not a permanent deal if it does go wrong.
 5. Blackpool aren''t showing signs of being sucked in.  Winning at Palace with ten men for 86 mins!
 6. 2-2 at Saints now.  Burnley level. Can''t see much changing today whatever happens - its so close at the bottom.
 7. And he''s a novelist too! http://www.waterstones.com/waterstonesweb/displayProductDetails.do?sku=6354882 Unless there''s another Chris Killen knocking around... [*-)]
 8.
Is it just me or does Bryan Gunn''s photo on the ncfc offical website under the heading "Sterling performance"  make him look like Edward Elizabeth Hitler (Ade Edmundson) from TV''s comerdy series Bottom???????????? or are they one of the same.   Keep it going Gunny
The irony is, that during the European season, Gunny was often compared to Eddie''s partner in crime Rik "Ritchie" Mayall. If you don''t believe me, it even gets a mention in his testimonial prog!
 9.
Having tried desperately to remain positive over recent weeks I finally decided after the draw against Southampton that we would be relegated and that a defeat against Doncaster would just confirm my feelings and I could finally stop the constant worrying about City''s fate. But NO we can''t even manage that ! We somehow dig out a draw to leave me dangling on a string yet again. This is unbearable and I find myself clinging to yet another ray of hope. I expect, when I awake in the morning I will have a clear head and realise that this oh so precious point is just a complete wind up and will do nothing more than prolong the agony ( of course, unless we get a Lita or an Evans - someone with a bit of strength to fire us clear - oh god there I go again )....................................[:D][:)][:|][:(][|-)][|-)][|-)]
16 potentially tense games like this one.  I think you''ve got a lot more worrying to do before the season ends...
 10. Considering our threadbare squad, its a decent result.  Whether that point is a good one in the long term, time will tell.  I''m not unhappy but equally I''m not celebrating it like a win.  Relieved more like. Anything at Wolves would be a bonus.  Let''s hope their nerve starts to go as it always does.
 11. We''ll need those points at home, because our away run-in is not kind (unless Charlton are already dead and buried on the final day).
 12. Not surprised.  Once Carney signed, it had to spell the end for Bell or Croft.  Don''t know how I feel about that.  Was young and had potential, but was never fit from the time we bought him.  Hope it doesn''t backfire on us long term.
 13.
He certainly was able to be critical of the former regime at CR. But not while the former regime was present.  I blame Archant myself.[;)]
There were some underlying digs though.  Never gave the impression that he genuinely liked Roeder.
 14.

The signing of Carney has probably confirmed the fact that Hucks will not be back any time soon. Shame.
I would have thought the fact that he is contracted to a club in the US, and we''d have to pay a transfer fee to bring back a player we released free 6 months ago would be confirmation enough. I wish people would stop on this delusion that its probably Hucks will come back now Gunny is at the helm. It will not, and never was going to happen!
Finally someone who speaks sense! And it''s about time the rest of you realise that!
Agreed.  As much as I loved Hucks, I wish people would move on.  Its getting obsessional and tiresome now.  Archant doesn''t help either with its daily Darren Huckerby news every time the papers come out.
 15. I''m looking forward to seeing this trio of Carney, Carner and Craney tomorrow...
 16. He came here with a good reputation, but I did wonder why he wasn''t playing at a higher level or snapped up by a bigger club.  I think we''re beginning to see why now.  Lots of pace but no cohesion, and its happened on many occasions, not just Tuesday. We really have had some poor right-backs since Edworthy left.  The fact that Andy Hughes was one of the more capable ones says it all really.
 17. Wasn''t Koroma the player that Glenn Roeder raved about being a "smooth mover"?  Mind you, he also said that Carl Cort would be "the ace up our sleeve". He did talk an awful lot of b*llocks at times didn''t he?
 18.

Its all still a bit of a mystery.  Of the ''Plymouth Six'', he''s still here and going, it seems, nowhere.  Even Roeder never got shot of him, yet managed to offload everybody else who he didn''t want here.  Odd.
I might be being over cynical but I suspect it could be because he is being paid more here than anyone else is prepared to pay him, so he is sitting tight on his contract waiting for a chance to prove himself. But I DON''T have any inside knowledge - purely guesswork. From what I remember, he was a tidy player with a useful left foot  but never really looked either quick and/ or strong enough. I agree that he became a "hero" to some as an  anti - Roeder stance.
It may well be a wages thing, but the fact that Gunn isn''t taking a punt on him (even on the bench) while signing another left sided player suggests that he''s either not as good as we first thought, or that he did something so outrageous that he can never be considered again. I may have missed this already, but when does his contract run out?
 19. The chant isn''t really a new thing though.  Can anyone old enough remember the ''old'' "Easy" chant from way back? (about the late 80''s).  Didn''t involve the handclap but lots more pointing and a different pronounciation (EEEZEEE, EEEZEEE rather than EEE-ZAY, EEE-ZAY). I''m sure you can hear it on some of the old season vids, but I refuse to make myself even more geeky by looking them up...[:$]
 20. Its all still a bit of a mystery.  Of the ''Plymouth Six'', he''s still here and going, it seems, nowhere.  Even Roeder never got shot of him, yet managed to offload everybody else who he didn''t want here.  Odd.
 21.
The "easy" chant is pathetic, not least because it is the brainchild of the appalling Tim Lovejoy, who encapsulates everything that is wrong with modern football. If you don''t believe me, read as much of his book Lovejoy on Football in your local bookshop as you can stand before vomiting. If you think of him every time you are tempted to chant "easy", you''ll find it''s not a problem to kick the habit.
Its a shockingly bad book isn''t it?  Smugness personified.
 22. A winger?  Uh-oh!  Croft and Bell on transfer alert...
 23.

I''m still shellshocked.  A game we totally threw away that should have been wrapped up by half-time.  People were saying we were unlucky, but the defending for the second goal renders that argument useless. Magnificent strike from Wes though.  Hope we''re finally seeing what he''s all about.
I agree about the defending being shocking for their second goal, not the first time we''ve seen such poor defending this season. Will they ever learn? Probably not because the players involved aren''t good enough.
I thought Grounds looked shaky the entire night- and, consequently, so did Doherty. I think Doc plays better with a good partner next to him as he isnt having to cover for the other, which I think he was trying to do too much tonight. If young Jon is to stay, I sincerely hope thats its as backup and we get Purse in as our first choice with the Doc.
We needed another centre-back even before tonight.  Purse would be a good addition alongside Doc and Grounds. Like a lot of other City games i''ve seen, the draw (I almost want to say defeat, cause it feels like one) was more down to lack of ability than lack of effort.  The desire is generally there but the quality is not, and the basic mistakes keep happening over and over.  We have some good players, but we have a fair few who will only ever be good enough to get us mid-table at best and not beyond. What worries me is that Donny are a much tougher side than Southampton.  We''ll have to play really well to get something there now.
 24. Better than Crofty''s goal against Ipswich.  On a par with Ched''s last season at Cardiff.
