I expect Farke will win it this time, purely on merit and, weirdly, this is the first time he actually should. If you look at any recent period after the first 6 games, Norwich scored the most points except for the precise calendar month of October where we dropped 5 points. In September, Farke was nominated but missed out to Darren Moore and, to be fair, West Brom had a slightly better goal difference in the month.
Regarding other media attention: it mostly comes down to ignorance. There are very few pundits or commentators in the national media with any affection for or affiliation with Norwich. It's like they forget we exist and then have to do a quick google to find out what's going on; then they notice that we've sold our best players and promoted some of the youth team so they assume we are massively punching above our weight.
There is no recognition for the work that goes on behind the headlines - no one has heard of Moritz Leitner or Marco Stiepermann because they don't stand out at first glance, but they have been central to our revolution. There's not obvious statistic about how we have more possession, score more, concede less etc., and the areas where we have been exceptional are masked by our poor start.
You have to take some time to look before you realise that over the last 14 games, Norwich have scored 26 (only beaten by West Brom's 27 [edit: and Villa's 28]), conceded 10 (best), and gained 35 points (best, and 8 more than 2nd best Forest). To be fair, Sky did a piece of analysis in November which looked at our run at that point. I would expect someone to notice soon (if our run continues) now that we are standing out at the top of the table.
