We should have player of the year, young player of the year, fan of the year, young fan of the year, old fan of the year, fattest fan of the year, coach of the year, coach driver of the year, programme seller of the year, steward of the year, bus steward of the year, ticket office person of the year, turnstile operator of the year, golden goal seller of the year, barperson of the year......

Have to agree that a competition that had real value in the first couple of years it ran where fans we all wanted to be recognised for years of devotion competed against others to make it almost impossible to judge.

Now we are faced (and no offence to them) with kids that have been a few times and adults that would themselves admit are hardly the most deserving.

I''m afraid this is past its sell by date.

An award that is well past its sell by date and together with the now ridiculous Hall of Fame should be binned.The Club have stripped the 59ers Lounge of all its history and memorabilia yet are happy to give these awards which i am sure 90% of our fan base could not give a flying fig about their support.

Dont quite get the junior one anyway the rules say

The insurer and main club sponsor is seeking fanatic followers for their annual competition to recognise the devotion and dedication of a true Norwich City fan. And for the first time this year it is seeking a junior (under 16-years and above 8 years old) as well as an adult winner.

But one of them is 7 years old.

Which category shall we do first? How about we start with nominations for Armchair Fan of the Season? We can put the nominations along with a brief explaination of why they deserve it on this thread.

 

Then all we need is some respected posters to judge the entries and create a final three. But maybe finding respected posters will be more difficult. Any ideas?

But one of them is 7 years old.[/quote]probably someone at Aviva''s son/daughter... watch them win....not saying its all a fix but i remember when the club ran a couple of competitions to win "Lifetime season tickets" the winners were both elderly gentlemen both in their 80''s...no doubt the club hoping "old Reg" snuffs it so they dont need to fulfil the agreement.Fix!
