BlyBlyBabes 0 Posted March 31, 2012 Etuhu. 2 nasty fouls. Raked Hoolahan with his studs. Almost broke Martin''s back. Should have been 2 yellows at least. Although both were pretty near straight reds. Is he carrying feelings against his former club - or do you reckon he was under orders? Or am I exagerating? bringbackandyhughes 0 Posted March 31, 2012 He''s just a thug, his only pass went straight into touch. Bloke is useless. He for me was everything that was wrong with our club in the seasons after out last relegation from the prem. was always giving it billy bigtime in the city in his Bentley and getting into trouble with his brother in certain nightclubs. Mister Chops 7 Posted March 31, 2012 It may be coincidence but on his first game for Norwich when he was on loan, didn''t he break his previous Preston team-mate''s leg?
TIL 1010 5,246 Posted April 1, 2012
was always giving it billy bigtime in the city in his Bentley .
Just to be pedantic it was a Chrysler which looks like a Bentley but very much cheaper E7UHU.

Tim Allman 1 Posted April 1, 2012 Yes Mr Chops, it was Etuhu that broke Adam Nowland''s leg; he never really recovered and retired with the injury. From memory it was a very poor tackle.
lake district canary 0 Posted April 1, 2012 Dangerous play - should have been sent off.
grantroederdisaster 0 Posted April 1, 2012 Very lucky to stay on the pitch! I thought it was so ironic when we sold him cause a clause in his contract allowed him to leave when a £1.5M bid came in, I''d of been happy to have got £500K for him cause most of the time he didn''t do b*ggerall for us! Norfolk Mustard 106 Posted April 1, 2012

was always giving it billy bigtime in the city in his Bentley .
Just to be pedantic it was a Chrysler which looks like a Bentley but very much cheaper E7UHU.
Just to be even more pedantic, last year when driving through West London I spotted Reg No. E7UHU - this time displayed on a real Bentley Convertible - white with red leather with Dickson at the wheel wearing a big cheesy grin. The Chrysler appears long gone - perhaps he really has hit the big time now? PS: Given where he was heading, I did wonder whether he was simply giving Mohamed Al-Fayed a lift to work! star_manic 0 Posted April 1, 2012 the tackle on martin itself warrented a sraight red card so how the ref totally ignored it i fail to understand. i say "tackle" but it was more of a case of assult.[:@]

Duncan Edwards 0 Posted April 1, 2012 It''s weird how people remember things. I always rated him highly as a player and thought we should have built around him yet he was much maligned by others.Did you all think that Darel Russell was a better player? Seriously? Russell is plying his trade in the third tier and Etuhu has played solidly in the top flight since he left us.I was disappointed with the reaction of our fans when he came on, the abuse he received after two poor challenges, was possibly more understandable.Incidentally, Darren Huckerby says that Dickson Etuhu was the most underrated player he played with during his time here. I think that speaks volumes but everyone sees the game differently.
Syteanric 1 Posted April 4, 2012 remember his debut for us when he shattered a preston players leg?Etuhu was crap! Worthy had started to lose the plot when he signed Dick(head)son.... i wonder if he had hindsight....
Duncan Edwards 0 Posted April 4, 2012 Oh well. Like I said, everyone sees the game differently. You thought Darel Russell was the better player then Jas? I suppose Cureton was better than Earnshaw too....[^o)]
Reggie Strayshun 0 Posted April 4, 2012 Difficult to get too worked up either way re Etuhu . He''s one of those unspectacular players. Not really an enforcer/hard man. Not really a box to box player. Not really a midfield general. Certainly not a ball playing maestro. But a reliable sort of guy that every team needs in the squad. My brother who is a PNE fan was astounded when we paid money for him. He was never a player who stood out, and that''s been true at Sunderland and Fulham also. Don''t think with the personnel at our disposal these days he''d get in our team, and doubt if his tendency to drift in and out of games would be PL''s cup of tea.
