Scunthorpe rate him very highly. They reckon he is a future England star, and he got there player and young player of the year. He turned down the chance to join them permantly for £500,000. I hope it''s a season long long with a view to a permanent deal.

Can he run faster than his old man did at the hieght of his career?  If he can''t we''ll get stuffed if we rely on him!

Nice to see Roeder sticking to the plan of getting the permanent transfers sorted  before the loans .

He is a very good player, and if we have got him on loan for the season that is a great start. But why do we here this on sites like yahoo sport etc and not on the official site? Again the club keeps us in the dark!

Because it''s not official yet. At the moment, it''s just a rumour. If/when it becomes official, it will be on there.

I know it''s frustrating, but stop worrying and chill out [H]

I have heard some decent things of him and he plaed very well for Scuny last year. He can play anywhere across the back four. As long as we can get Bertrand too,

But has he got any bottle ?

Nice to see Ipswich foiled in a bid...........

Bluebirds reject bids for Johnson

Roger Johnson

Cardiff City have rejected two bids for Roger Johnson

Cardiff City chairman Peter Ridsdale has confirmed the club have rejected two seven-figure bids for defender Roger Johnson.

The bids came from Ipswich Town and an unnamed club.

The Bluebirds have also rejected another seven-figure bid from another club for midfielder Peter Whittingham.

Midfielder Aaron Ramsey was in talks with Arsenal on Saturday, having

already met with Manchester United officials over his future.

Cardiff City have accepted bids from the Gunners, Red Devils and Everton for the teenager.

Ridsdale has also revealed the futures of Robbie Fowler and

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink at Ninian Park will depend on how successful

the club is in its search for other strikers.

Would be nice to see us bid a million for somebody , at the moment if they are not free or under £300,000 we dont seem interested.
