Smudger

hahahahahaha I just got asked by my Dad...

Recommended Posts
Smudger - do you and your Dad ever actually discuss football and your views on NCFC?  Bearing in mind the fairly extreme views you  put across on here several times per day I cannot believe the poor man would have considered wasting his breath offering you a ticket in the first place.  Besides do you berate him for being a sheep etc or are you not too old for a clip round the ear! [;)]
hehehe nice one P''BORO... [Y]

He hasn''t had much interest for many years now apart from looking out for the results.

Shocks me too how he didn''t realise that I would never of set foot in the ground at the moment... my brother certainly knows that it would not of been worth asking me.

smudger you need to get a life stirring things up on theses boards, making fans angry who are very loyal, and when you say they cant give tickets away i thought it was your dad who couldnt give the ticket away
He wasn''t giving it away... somebody else was...

Then again you never know... he may of found some other mug to take it off his hands!!!
I think all fans want city to win tonight, including Smudger but it will only paper over the cracks and give this inept board and manager more time to take this club nowhere. I would take a loss tonight if he meant Grant was gone, more pressure was put on HRH Delia and rebuilding of this once proud club started from tomorrow but even if we get done 4-0 tonight the board will sit on their hands and we will still have people on here supporting Grant, Delia and all her cronies.
I can assure you that I certainly do not want us to win RICKY.

Believe me or don''t believe me but it is 100% the truth!!!

There is a fine line between love and hate UEA....and as with many things you should try to read between the lines.

Smudger has been pushed beyond his limits having seen this scenario coming years ago...as did I. He has been frustrated by the foolishness of his fellow City "fans" in continuing to back a failing regime....when action taken during our Premiership humiliation would/could have altered our fate considerably.

I understand fully where he is coming from....and why he seeks short term failure for long term gain. It''s pure frustration...nothing more....and should we infact lose tonight, it may indeed bring that change nearer thus heralding a whole new beginning.....which I''m certain you and many others who know no better would enjoy.
100% spot on Cluck... and I have felt that way for most of last season and all of this season too... and it will not change until Delia & MWJ''s sell up to a new investor.
I must admit I cant agree with you on this one Smudger - My dad and I are members as working shifts it is no point being a season ticket holder - I always go with him and value the time together as it is a great opportunity to have a one on one with him for the afternoon or evening without wives grandchildren etc being there - we do a meal at Riverside and then a couple of beers before going to the game - win lose or draw I am not bothered (although would prefer a win) because I have a great day out and value the time that I have with him just the two of us.  We will be there tonight and I have paid for the tickets but like I say win lose or draw (not bothered) just value the time
Come on everyone pull yourselfs together, are we now turning this thread into some silly American Father/Son ''lets play baaaaallllll pops'' love fest!!??? Who knows what Smudge and his fathers relationship is, maybe they see each other all the time? God no wonder the old sentiments of Little old family club Norwich is so strong at our club with melodramatic  Yankee wannabes preaching the good son bible!!

Most pathetic post I have ever seen from a so-called supporter.  You are not a supporter of NCFC in any way and like all true supporters I hope we stuff Scunny tonight and go on to have a good season.

You obviously are the kind of person who likes winding other people up, which I think is incredibly sad - I think it would be a good thing if every supporter on here ignored all of your future posts, or perhaps just replied with ignore the troll.  I know you would still have you buddies who will reply, but hopefully after a while they will get bored and ignore you as well.

Come on City - hatrick for JC tonight with a couple from Hux (as a supporter, I can but be positive).

If only, a win will only cloud our judgement.

I don''t really agree with the Norwich three, Whittle, Smudger, and Cluck but a valid point is raised

''short term pain-long term gain''

A win tonight imo will only delay the inevitable

Grant has to go, he hasn''t got a clue and from my sources - has lost the dressing room completely

Worthy revisted i''m afraid.

I say lets get Warnock - he''ll sort this mess out - love him or hate him - he did a top job at Sheff Utd

If I would like a free ticket for tomorrow.... what a laugh!!!!

Told him "NO THANKS".... says it all about the club that it stinks so much at the moment that I am not willing to walk 10mins down the road to watch a game with my Dad for the first time in about 15years.

Told him "that I would not enjoy it so there was little point in me going really"

What a laugh they can''t even give tickets away nowadays can they????

I will be itching for a Scunthorpe win tomorrow night to heap more pressure on our clueless board and those who have backed them over the last few years....  C''mon Scunthorpe!!!
I never reply to Smudger''s drivel but thos was to good to miss.

''10 minute walk'' haha, that''ll be 5 min walk from Portakabin Road to Ipsh*t station and a 5 min walk from Norwich station to Carrow Road then will it?
hohoho kep em coming my sides are splitting that was so funny...

and people like you wonder why we refer to you as the wooly flock!!!

Nice one Smudger - If only they would get as wound up & re-active in response to the endless mistakes made by the board and their idiot of a manager.

I too am giving it a miss. Having been a season ticket holder for almost 35 years, I am almost at the end of my tether.

Changes are required - from top to bottom.

Easy, have been doing it for the last two years mate (apart from around March last season when I began to think relegation could of really been on the cards with no escape).

You are pathetic, what exactly do you get out of it? Does it even p*** you off when we score a goal? Your truely amazing, you think your a Norwich fan when your not even close to being a real fan, please go support Ipswich and do us all a favour.

''Pathetic'' sums up the Smith worship brigade who flock to CR to watch the endless trash being dished up by a clueless manager & his overpaid squad of below-par players.

Well, Smudger, I think you have well and truly cooked your goose on this thread.  Apart from a couple of your equally negative chums, everyone knows exactly the level of hatred you feel toward NCFC.  Perhaps it is time to go away and annoy some other people, eh?  Or do you take too much pleasure in it.

Come on City, let''s get the show back on the road.  OTBC.

Agree with you mate, he is a nothing, he wants our club to go under, get relegated etc etc.

We have always known what he is like, he likes the attention,  the way he gets people to reply to him, he don''t get that in the real world except at the dole centre queue.

We can only wish that he will go away, and no the board won''t be a worse place without him, wait for his hate the world/board/life cronies to come out in support.

Smudger is an Ipswich fan... he wasnt at Carrow road when he said.. (no one ever saw him after Wolves last season and i didnt see him on Saturday, when i was outside the main entrance)

and when it comes to the cruch and him to follow through on what he says he never does.. (baldyboys challenge/ others daring smudger to start a protest) some of what he says is true... but as soon as the club starts doing well he will go away... nothing to whinge about....

jas :)
