Now all we need is for Southampton and Leeds to win and it's pretty much perfect (trusting the results stay as they are)

We don't really want to finish 5th tbh as that probably means Southampton in the play-offs as judging how we melted today would be tough over 2 legs.

Really good day so far. Ipswich off the top, no damage done in play off terms, and everyone's pants from the match thread will almost be dry by now.

Come on Southampton and Leeds.

Honestly just making the playoffs should be the objective so the main thing is Preston and Coventry losing.

Personally I’d rather Southampton than Leeds, Leicester or Ipswich in the semis.

Yeah, thought the same, then went ahead and pressed send anyway. I take full responsibility if and when all the scores go against us...

Equally I also want the credit when they don't

Exactly this; I'd say that we should concentrate more on staying ahead of Coventry, Hull and Preston rather than catching West Brom.

Also, the fact that Birmingham got three points shouldn't be overlooked. If we need something in the final game, I'd rather not face a team needing points to survive.

Thinking Southampton is better than the alternatives

On balance a small gain today. Preston lose winnable away game Coventry fail to get points from a home game and WBA drop home points.

I fully expected us to get nothing at Leicester.

Come on Ricardo. The message board is looking to our elder statesman for a prediction for the Binner game BEFORE it happens .

At some stage 1p5wich may beat us again but probably not in my lifetime.

This. Anything from Leicester away was going to be a bonus.
