South Norfolk Old Boy 0 Posted March 21, 2006 So Proton have pulled out of the sponsorship deal. Who might we have next. Some suggestions: The Ministry of Defence – Favoured by NW, but with no track record of sponsoring football clubs. Wilkinson Sword – Rumoured to be owned by Howard who is known to be a big fan of our style. Kodak – Always seeing the negatives as positives. The Health and Safety Executive – they owe Delia a favour. Norwich and Peterborough Building Society – Change the name to Peterborough United and get Danny Crow back without a fee. Hummer Motor Cars – as long as Earnie stays here (does he need a cushion to see over that wheel?) Tesco – cos every little helps. Sainsbury’s – Big picture of Jamie Oliver on the shirt. New major shareholder required? The Italian Tank Company – 9 reverse gears and one forward. Anne Summers – the club shop would be more interesting. Lidl – Buy ‘em cheap and pile ‘em high. I’m sure you can all do better!

percyvarco 0 Posted March 21, 2006 Norwich Union Direct - suits our style of play. But then again Norwich Union are also sponsoring Ipswich by not asking for their loan back!

Huddy 0 Posted March 21, 2006 The new sponsors i expect will be flybe. It was mentioned a few weeks back and is likely because they sponsor Birmingham and exeter, places where their planes fly too.

Plastic Scouser 0 Posted March 21, 2006 I''m probably going to regret this but I''m pretty closely linked to that company...and I''ve not heard a peep - that said, the Chairman- Charles Dunstone (who is not short of the odd million) does have a small property hidden away in the depths of North Norfolk - so perhaps he is a closet Canary - shame I hadn''t heard this one before as he was up in our offices last Friday - I could have asked him...!Apologies if this sparks off a pointless rumours thread!!!! Freddy H 0 Posted March 22, 2006 Forobvious reasons Purina Winalot have pulled out of sponsorship talks. Cadburys and Nestle are interested due to the fact that we have a softcentre. Redwings Sanctuary are the obvious favourites as they haveheard about the hoof ball we play and the collection of Donkeys and Cart Horsesthat Worthy has recently assembled! AP16 0 Posted March 22, 2006 Viagara and Tampax cracked me right up!! I saw the pampers one ages ago on a Man Utd shirt floating round the internet when they lost their deal with vodafone. FHM......Would make half time the highlight of the gameVagisil....Stop the midfield standing about scratching their nutsKleenex....Tissues for when a full back crosses the half way line and develops a heavy nose bleed
