Biggest deal/shock of deadline day = Lewis Hamilton moving to Ferrari! 😂

He's said for a long time that would be his dream job - and presumably it will be his final drive. Wonder how much it's costing Ferrari.

and Lando has extended his contract at McClaren which is a good move as both are on the up.

Meanwhile, George Russel will become number one at Mercedes.

Both will become World Champs eventually, although neither will be able to command the scene as Hamilton and Verstappen have done, especially as it might take a while for the latter to hang up his helmet.

Perhaps Lewis will have a swansong as well.

Why has Pritchard gone to Brum? Big pay rise?

He refused to play for Sunderland again, the fee was only 100k just to get him off their books 🤣

Yeah, but why Brum over Sunderland?!

He wanted the guarantee of a longer contract, which Sunderland wouldn't give him. Linking up with Mowbray again

Great signing for them... annoyingly.

Is it though? They're paying him 30k pw and this season he's only played 100 minutes in the league scoring once, last year he played nearly 1300 minutes and scored 4 with no assists. He basically had one and a half good seasons at Cardiff and that's it... I would be disappointed if we were paying that much for him.

He’s a weapon at championship level though, and will offer them a different type of option.

The wrong option though. They won't get far reverting to hoofball.

Not sure, think they're banking on him getting on the end of Leif Davis's crosses.

keiffer Moore to Ipswich feels like a kick in the N#ts ,

he would have been fantastic here with Sarge

I can't imagine they would have ever been selected in the same starting team. I would take Sargent above Moore every day of the week.

i would have Moore over Barnes and Sarge is not 100 % fit  yet

I also agree with the sentiments that Moore is a very good signing for Ipswich.

Would I have liked him here? I guess it depends on our plans. If we're thinking short-term and going all out for a promotion push this season, as Ipswich are, then yes.

However, I think we're more looking towards building for next season now, which is why a loan-to-buy for van Hooijdonk probably makes more sense.

That's not to say that we've given up on promotion of course, but it looks like we've accepted it's unlikely and if we reach the playoffs, great, but planing ahead is the priority.

Just watching Sky Sports Transfers day ,

Kompany on there asked if he was looking for Experienced players he said this league (PL )s all about legs getting around pace / power if experienced that's a bonus

i thought of Barnes the total opposite
