WTF

A few of the youth grassroots teams disassociated from them recently and became Brundall Bolts. Seems a basket case club top to bottom.

Is this a football club or a new script for a Footballers Wives comeback?

It really does read like that, right down to the nicknames lol.

It's just the entire... some lass tried to take over the club social media... had to be ejected from the club house whilst trying to do so... I mean, was she trying to take someone's phone off them or something? Did she not understand that it doesn't exist on a device? Or was she trying to take out the person or persons who were in charge of it?

I mean, it's so confusing.

If I was the manager I would have kicked a boot at his face or something...

It's only missing someone sleeping with the chairmans daughter or the like.

You can definitely picture this being a report by Alan Partridge on The Day Today.

I wonder if Cedric Anselin has any clue of what is going on, he managed them last back in 2020... seems like the wheels are coming off pretty amazingly at the moment.

I can just imagine the argument in the club house about social media...

"I fink, yeah, the players should do a Harlem shake tik-toq!"
"Look here, that was so 2015! Stop trying to grab my phone, they don't want to shake their bits on tiq-toq, this is a reputable club!"

I see Matt Blake played for Diss Tuesday night

Doesn’t show on their line up? Does appear to have had his registration remove by Norwich United though

It’s a shame we can’t have signatures on here. That would be perfect for him.

All sounds a bit familiar to another Norfolk club at that level not so long ago, but kept very in-house by a loyal Chairman and Vice Chairman, so as not to tarnish the clubs name.

Wonder what happens now ? they will have to start very low again and make their way back up or chairman will chuck it in and fold club

They still have a team in Anglian Combination Division 1. So would take a few years to work their way back up to where the first team originally was in the Thurlow Nunn Premier.

AC Div 1 -> AC Prem -> TN Div 1 North -> TN Prem

Anyone involved with Poringland Wanderers when Norwich Utd stole their club 40 years ago will be having a wry smile on hearing this news.

Didn't know that Dylan

A man called Neville Downing moved Poringland Wanderers to Blofield and they initially played under the Poringland name. Poringland was left without a club for several years. Downing was eventually forced to change the name.

Downing was the owner of a business called Magic Products which owned a novelty joke shop and later an amusement arcade. He was eventually jailed for forging bank notes.
