Very well could have had a hatrick already

Definitely looks like he has a knack of being in the right place

Giannoulis was offside before he put the cross in.

He tries most days. Think he might even have managed it once or twice.

What? What?

Omo made a late tackle and stayed down, he's now up and walked off though - looks precautionary.... Ankle region(?).

Not going to get carried away - after all, we humped Marseille 3-0 in pre-season last season with Jordan Hugillinho scoring a brace. Does look like Wagner's decided he wants to get a defensive structure in place then sprinkle what stardust and creativity we have. Promising, but no more.

Thanks. Fingers crossed... guessing they've replaced him?

Well thought that was a good watch personally.  Must admit I do prefer it when we play the ball with passers and those that can control the ball rather than just pacey players not really heading anywhere with the ball. i.e. as per the final 40 mins.

We've got a few options though, that's for sure.

I know I'm biased towards Tzolis but we'd be nuts to let him go on loan or leave, we look so much better composed and able to play killer balls with him over someone like Rowe is my personal thoughts.

Idah really needs to out on loan though, we don't even know how many games he can play a season yet and he's unable to change gears which you need when pressing.  He skips around at the same pace, and doesn't really look threatening coming at you.

Clean sheet, debut goal, minutes in the tank for all and a 2-0 win vs a Europa League side,  whats not to like?

Indeed. McCallum came back on for the last 20 seconds.

Yeah, just seen the FT graphic on Twitter, or whatever it's called these days.

Sounds like a good run-out. @Dean Coneys boots will be disappointed with the final third, though.

Nice to see Fassnacht making an immediate impact.

Prepare for his inevitable ACL injury on Saturday, ruling him out for the season.

Last third was actually quite good. Gino, Tzolis, Sara, Nunez and Fassnacht liked up well and we played some nice stuff. First two thirds not so good.
