In terms of seeing if a style of play is developing (especially as a fair few seem to agree that we don't seem to have a clear identity in terms of playing style) then I would say pre-season games are intriguing. Thats as maybe but we have done the fitness stage and the warm up games to test the fitness.Given the opposition I think we are at the serious end of pre season and its time to get an idea of the team he wishes to play, not playing players out of position - Placheta at left/wing back.Nah never going to happen. I would just be pleased to see a pattern of play and i am not talking this high press/low press nonsense,all teams use a variation of that,I dont class that as a pattern of play.
