King's Lynn stream refund

Recommended Posts

Has anyone heard any news. I had assumed there would be an unreserved apology and immediate refund but there is a deafening silence. I'm not impressed

I'm still spamming them and will continue to do so until they do the honourable thing. I may drop Stuart webber a message on LinkedIn now to expedite matters

If that is their attitude then Small Claims Court is the only option. I know it's a tiny amount of money but it is totally unacceptable

/Doesn't it work out to about £3.50 anyway as it was £25 for the 7 games? Surely no one is that bothered??

Always find my own streams for free but very poor by the club.

This game was not streamed elsewhere.

Although the club probably engaged a third party, it does not absolve them of responsibility as, - the goods should be fit for the purpose they are supplied for

I suggest all those dissatisfied contact the club https://www.canaries.co.uk/club/contact-us

I’m not asking for a refund, never have.

So if no one bothered, and does not complain, why would the club feel the need to deal with this problem? Or, perhaps, even know there was a problem?

Yes it was. It's what I watched parts of it on. Love it when people are categorically  incorrect.

They knew there was a problem. They tweeted an apology during the game

Yes, have you seen the other replies? or are you choosing to ignore them?

How would other sites stream it unless they ahem, 'borrowed' the clubs feed? And that wasn't working.

Why not simply name that/them ?

That would depend on where the issue was, and where they tapped into the feed etc. (ie before or after the issue cause)

They have been reposted on here from the original thread for your convenience!

Why not simply read them?

Sorry, but other streams are totally irrelevant. I really don't understand why they form part of the discussion I paid for something that I didn't get.

In short, I had a contract with Norwich City. I paid for something I didn't get as did many others. I want my money back and if it happens again I don't expect to have to ask for it. This really goes to the heart of the current nature of our club.

I think they are more than aware there was a problem 🙄

I think the point Rob is making is everyone else streaming it was using the Canary TV stream, I think the correct analogy should have been no one bar the club was broadcasting it.

https://www.canaries.co.uk/canariestvtacs

Says in the Canaries TV T&C's:

Your legal rights:

If your product is digital content, for example a stream of a match, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 says digital content must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality:

If your digital content is faulty, you're entitled to a repair or a replacement.

If the fault can't be fixed, or if it hasn't been fixed within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, you can get some or all of your money back.

If you can show the fault has damaged your device and we haven't used reasonable care and skill, you may be entitled to a repair or compensation.

----

Must admit, it was annoying, but I don't feel the need for push for a £3 refund as I expected these first two single camera feeds to have some issues and will negatively affect the club and chances of getting these games in future IF they have to be perfect streams.

I can appreciate it for people that have decided to change plans at the weekend, foregone going out as a family, or paid the £5 for a single match to be more annoyed though.
