You know this of course, he's your mate

I do not know him. I have agreed with him on some  things , and disagreed  on others. This  does not make us mates.

What goes up must come down though! For some unearthly reason I run a course regularly in Sheff where there is not one stretch of anything approaching a flat road. I'm a glutton too ...

Sheffield half-marathon is pretty infamous to be fair. I did the Great Yorkshire Run (a 10K) there back in 2011. Remember it brilliantly as it was a 10K PB at the time even though I missed a sub-45 by 21 seconds and when at the train station going back home, I dropped a scalding hot cup of tea on my foot.

There are ' specialist' forums for the likes of you and Gunnso.😉

Or Facebook groups. In quite a few running ones.

Don't think Eyjafjallajökull is that hard to pronounce. 😉

https://forvo.com/search/Eyjafjallajökull/

The double "l" seems a bit odd in both Icelandic and Faroese though, as anyone who has visited the most northerly village on the island of Kalsoy (Trollanes) will testify (and there's a gravestone to James Bond there, it was where the death scene in No Time To Die was set).

Speaking of tongue-twisters, here's a nice Polish one.

https://forvo.com/word/w_szczebrzeszynie_chrząszcz_brzmi_w_trzcinie_i_szczebrzeszyn_z_tego_słynie./#pl

A bit closer to home, there's always

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch

The longest word in English is antidisestablishmentarianists (29 letters)-- or was, until supercalifragilisticexpialidocious came along (34)

But that's nothing compared to

Donaudampfschiffahrtselektrizitatenhauptbetriebswerkbauunterbeamtengesellschaft

in German.  No idea what it means.

Welcome to nerds corner

At that time, on that day, your profile and Greavsy's profile showed that you were both sending lots of private messages.

Stalker alert.....

For some one who says they don't care much you seem to read a lot into things.

You've had me personally on ignore previously, but even when you were  banned you were still obsessed, with changing your avatar, posting multiple reactions, posting from another account, and trying to provoke responses.

You do realise that someone being reported doesn't automatically mean they are banned, it's their behavior that attracts that. We are all individually responsible for what we post, and are judged by it. If you cross a line there are consequences.

I hope you don't get a further ban, as that would mean your behavior has been modified, and a lesson learnt. 🤞

It's really not difficult to understand.

Good luck.

I will get another ban though won't I.

Because you spend months and months trying to pick a fight with me, despite knowing that i had you on ignore, eventually getting one, all in aid of me saying something that you can report.

That's your modus operandi. All a bit sad really. I won't be shy to report you in future though, now that you've set the tone, resisted previously as I've never been a grass.

That's up to the mods. If you behave then you won't. As I've said it's not difficult.

How can I pick a fight with someone who has me on ignore? They won't see my posts.

As I've said we we are all personally responsible for what we post, if it crosses a line the poster risks consequences.

Anyways, I'll repeat, I hope you don't get banned as that means you havent offended anyone. And genuinely wish you luck.

Take that how you wish.

Well done on the PB. The half-marathon route out of the city goes on and on forever, but at least it is all downhill on the way back. If it were the other way round, as most of my runs are living on the top of a hill, I'd probably never keep running, despite all the training!

Can't be me, I don't really like hills. (How the heck I ran a personal best in Torshavn last year, possibly the hilliest half I ran, remains a mystery even now and even though I smashed that with a PB on a much faster, flatter course in Verona this Feb).

Try Cornwall TGS. Two marathons rated as two of thel hardest in the UK. The Cornish (has ten categorised hills) and the Eden. What some call a hill we call a nip.

There was a forum on the club website many years ago. In the Worthy days. I can't really remember but I think the club just pulled the plug on it so it's unlikely they'd start one up or even finance one.  I've no idea who else from that is on here as well. Certainly no names I recognise but then I changed mine on here as it was already taken.

What has a Newsquest messageboard got to do with ncfc 🤣

Forums hardly cost anything to set up, @hogesar could do it with his eyes closed, all you pay for is the domain name and hosting

I've been informed by somebody that this place is closed to new members. When people attempt to register an account they can fill out the details but are never sent an email to verify their email address, and so the account is never created.

This appears to have been the case for months now.

This claim is supported by the newest member being an IT Admin account on March 16th.

The big question is....

Is this an intentional decision by Newsquest to halt new sign ups. Or is this some sort of technical issue that isn't on their radar?

Because if the former, that's somewhat concerning for Norwich fans, there's not really any other established forum outside of Facebook.

I can confirm this. I signed up. It didn’t work. I gave up on it. About two months later I got an email to say it’s been approved and account created.

Thanks. That's what I've been told also, by my uncle, who has been waiting since early Feb.

In isolation what I said was a ban worthy selection of words. No complaints. I called you an old c*nt and offered to meet you down the Nelson (a nod to your exchanges with Morty in 2017, I don't actually drink there).

Just have zero respect for you because you can dish it out but can't take it. Should really have been a 'boy who cried wolf' scenario and would have been it the mods paid the slightest bit of attention on a day to day basis.

Now go back to hassling Essex Canary and moaning about Cambridgeshire Canary starting threads (i notice your own threads get very little activity).

Setting it up would be easy.

Getting the word out that it exists to the 13k members of this forum much less so.

Perhaps the supporters association / trust (whatever they are called now) should be hosting one.

Well it's a forum about ncfc what feels like the only one so why not take it on if the plug was getting pulled. The unknown cost would be how you staff the monitoring of the forum.

Learn from your ban.

I will learn from my ban, good lesson. Naughty me.

I will also remember to tell teacher if I think you step out of line. Something I've never done before.

I feel your pain Teemu. In over 16 years 50% of the snitching against me has come from the same source.

Don't go down to that level yourself buddy. You're better than that. I never have and never will.

Nobody liked the grass at the school I went to. Greavsy must have gone somewhere more high brow with the blazer squad.

The thing is... I went over the top (with calculated provocation)

I'd take it on the chin if the 'victim' was a sensitive soul. It wasn't though, it was somebody that dishes it out as much as anybody. In fact, more than most.
