Bali Mumba at Wembley

Recommended Posts

What would be highly acceptable is a scenario whereby Plymouth play Ipswich either in the Play Offs and the boy Mumba scored the winner! One trusts he would celebrate appropriately.

I went to the playoff final they had v Wombles a few years ago - they do turn up in numbers…but didn’t win.

Given Plymouth has what, a population of 240,000 it's fair to say they are a club with a lot of potential for a big fanbase and bigger stadium. Just need investors in..

38000 Argyle fans is a great effort. Don't think Bolton will take anywhere near that.

34,000 apparently.

Should make for a good atmosphere. Think I'll give it a watch.

My big sister is on her way at the moment and trust me, she counts as 4,000 🙄

She lives just over the Cornwall border in Liskeard so a weekend in Acle would cause her excitement. She is beside herself. I really do feel sorry for London.

Should be a good match regardless. Promotion matches to League one always tend to be

A) Neither club are in League Two.

B ) It is the Papa Johns Trophy Final and nothing to do with promotion.

If Plymouth get auto promotion and their season effectively ends 7th May, would Mumba be eligible to play for us in the play-offs?

He's already scored a goal in each of the fixtures against the Binners, denying the Binners of (thinks) 3 points in total.
Unlikely that Plymouth will play Ipswich in the play offs as it's highly likely that at least one of them will get an automatic spot.
Really need Sheff W to get back into gear.

This currently means Plymouth can get back to concentrating on promotion hopefully  at the expense of the Scum.

Apologies, my mistake

Easy mistake to make CC. The PlayOffs have been held at the end of the season only since 1987 and will naturally take time to enter the psyche of the ordinary football fan ( wink )

'the Plymouth scummer Mumba getting crocked for the rest of the season'

is a quote I've just seen on TWTD. Charming fella whoever had the tiny brain cell to write that.

I'm he's a great lad but Bali Mumba is not the answer to our problems. Plymouth have had to move things around to try to cover his defensive frailties.
