The Positive Brexit Thread

Recommended Posts

What an absoloute load of tosh, not the report which is true, but how the Farages of the world are distorting facts and reality. The latest polls as shown above show 81% in favour of their EU membership.
You can always tell when it’s not going well for for the Government as just like other threads people turn their attentions from the U.K. to attack and tell us what’s happening in other countries.

Do you think Poland would rather be part of Russia ? They can’t trade on their own without total devastation of their economy.

Provisions of the EU treaties are unconstitutional to the extent in which they oblige Poland to implement interim measures affecting the judiciary- the Polish Constitutional Tribunal ruled on Wednesday.

It is the first time the country’s top court has challenged the primacy of EU law. The verdict has been delivered by a five-member panel chaired by former Law and Justice MP Stanisław Piotrowicz. It was composed exclusively of people hand-picked by the ruling party. The verdict was passed by a majority vote, meaning that one member of the panel opposed it.

And even if true, what has that got to do with Brexit? Please do explain …..

I will sit and wait for the Polish Referendum then.

It's nothing to do with the  Referendum, it's to do with the courts.

I take it you didn't read the second paragraph. What a joke you are!

No! it's definitely about sausages. I think you're confusing the brexit disaster about the NI protocol, with the brexit disaster that is destroying the UK fishing industry. You really need to keep your brexit disasters distinct. I know there's an awful lot of them but that is no excuse.

The current coalition government in Poland is headed by the right wing anti EU PiS party, a tribunal that was hand picked by PiS was always going to rule that primacy of EU law was unconstitutional.

As the EU is very popular (84% in 2019) in Poland a referendum on leaving the EU is likely to fail.

To put it in language that you'll be able to understand PiS are taking the PiS.

Boris Johnson's government has launched a PR drive -- but that was last year and aimed at getting Britons to help harvest crops.

Called Pick for Britain, it was aimed at encouraging those left unemployed by the pandemic to fill the gap left by migrant workers.

They've brought out a new poster campaign to evoke that famed Churchillian war time spirit

Of course it is please stop making things up and if as you claim you are not Jools please stop using his actions spellings and tactics.

Polish law says that to leave the EU they need a public ballot. The polls show 81% in favour of remaining in the EU. Unlike us they are not gullible enough to listen to lunatics like Farage.

One lie being NI can remain in Single Market without abiding by rules that .........allows it to be in SM 🙄

SM regulations are constantly updated - as they were pre-2021

Here's a perfect example of the weakness of the UK's trading position post brexit:

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/not-engaging-isn-t-the-answer-australia-under-pressure-as-us-follows-eu-lead-on-carbon-tariffs/ar-AAMcAf5?ocid=msedgntp

The US and the EU are able to impose severe sanctions (tariffs etc) on Australia to punish it for its dreadful environmentally destructive practices exacerbating climate change. The UK is so weak and desperate it has caved in to pretty much every Australian demand meaning we will become a repository for its substandard environmentally destructive produce. What a feeble wretch we have become under the yoke of brexit.

The word is c8nt, as in Johnson

And thick, as in you Swindo

And I am not sure why you posted up a headline that affirms NIs obligations of being in the SM, as it simply backs what was pretty obvious all along.

Perhaps you'll post up something from June Mummery wailing that the rules on fishing have stayed the same despite Johnson saying they wouldn't.

Or UK farmers bleating that warnings from Remainers that hormone riddled beef would be allowed into the country, is coming true.

Whatever is happening in NI is part of the 'oven ready deal Johnson boasted he had agreed. You brexit whiners putting up headlines to show how thick you were to trust him won't change a thing.

To avoid breaking an International treaty NI is in the SM, so has to abide by it's regulations. Just as any ST holder at CR knows that games will be moved at the behest of Sky/BT. Only a thicko like you would be too stupid to understand why that is.

The bottom line is that the UK is trailing its sorry ars around the globe cap in hand desperately trying to get trade deals and willing to accept stuff not on their terms.

'Bloomberg News previously reported that the two nations were unlikely to be ready to strike a deal before 2023, with the Biden administration focused on other priorities such as China and investing in domestic programs to boost the U.S. economy."

The fat buffoon risked spreading the new covid varient by keeping open the borders with India, hoping some crumb of comfort could be offered up to gullible brexiters. As expected, fat boy achieved nothing. India is far down the line in negotiations with the EU over an FTA. The UK has been sidelined.
