The Positive Brexit Thread

Recommended Posts

Read the first 2 paragraphs now I wonder if this gem includes the fake expenses stolen by Farage and the EU pension the slimes little worm takes.

we should at least demand an audit of its accounts ā€“ and a clawback for any mis-spending.

I wonder if we can try and get the thread back on track, this is ā€˜ The Positive Brexit ā€˜ thread and was started I understood to note what was positive about Brexit to the U.K., and acceptably what was going wrong after Brexit. It seems to being deflected to other Countries which donā€™t effect the Brexit decision at all.Ā
Letā€™s get back to the Brexit debate and the U.K. rather than Poland and Hungary.

PROVE IT !

https://www.schengenvisainfo.com/news/hungary-to-end-restrictions-at-schengen-border-crossings/

Hungary will abolish border crossing restrictions on the internal Schengen borders from June 24, the Foreign Minister, Peter Szijjarto, announced during a visit to Bratislava yesterday,Ā SchengenVisaInfo.comĀ reports.

Since September 1, due to high Coronavirus rates in the neighbouring countries, Hungary had tightened border crossing rules and closed them for foreigners.

I heard it on the radio yesterday,Ā  they were saying the border is still closedĀ

Clearly you have no intention of talking about the U.K. just deflecting the problems by talking about other countries.

If the U.K. experiment on Monday fails every country in the world will close their borders to anyone resident in the U.K.Ā

Looks like Frosty has f***** up again.

If only someone had pointed this out before the referendim

Actually they did, but if you are not too bright, it's better to put your fingers in your ear and rock to and fro bleating out 'project fear' after all, why would anyone think habitual liars like Johnson and Farage would be lying to them ?

Outside of the EU the UK would be treated as any other non EU country. However, the only land border with the EU (Ireland) could not be used as a border between the UK and the EU, as it would break the terms of an existing International treaty. This was known by everyone, however thickos believed brexit liars when they were told this would not matter.

Five years on and in contrast to Johnson blatant lies there is now an EU customs border, this time in UK territory. The cost in checks and delays have seen businesses in NI move trade to Ireland, just as UK businesses have located into the EU to avoid the same hassle. EU workers who were told to fck off by brexiters as they were not welcome in the UK have done just that. They will find work in businesses that are now based in the EU where once they were in the UK.

On the figures above, this equates to a loss of around Ā£1.7 Bn to UK businesses over a year, which will only grow as NI/RoI cross border trade flourishes. Any wonder Rees-Mogg established "an investment fund in Ireland ahead of the UK leaving the European Union". He knew, as did anyone bothered with even the most basic check, how piling costs and delays on UK businesses would be a massive burden. Something consistently warned of by the CBI.

So where does this leave the stupid ? Not with John Redwood who also advised his clients to move their money into the EU. Or fellow brexiter Sir Jim Radcliffe who moved his car production out of the UK to the EU. Another leading brexiter, Lord Ashcroft, advised UK companies to base themselves in Malta.

Meanwhile, thick brexiteers find themselves being booted out of their Spanish homes - and the media is endlessly being regaled with the constant whining of brexiters, bleating about how they were lied to by their betters (see June Mummery).

Still, the thickos have the prospect Johnsons levelling up plans.........as long as they email them to him šŸ¤£

Ā The Northern Ireland assembly voted to accept the NI protocol. In fact they have voted in support of it no less than 9 times. Including amid the ongoing arguments being created by a minority of Unionists, who, if polls are correct, will be an even smaller number as soon as there is an election. Ergo the majority of people of people in Northern Ireland are happy with the current arrangements. Despite what British politicians suggest, they donā€™t want British sausages because they donā€™t eat British sausages. They donā€™t eat the so called UKā€™s favourite Irish sausages.Ā Ā Ā In 2024, the protocol allows for a vote in the Northern Ireland assembly to continue their being in the protocol. I have no doubt that this vote will see it continue.

Do you honestly think that we believe you wrote this? It's comprehensible, contains no spelling mistakes nor grammatical errors, which means you've lifted it from elsewhere. Perhaps you could also explain what you think it proves, as the government is doing everything it can to get out of the NI protocol (including breaking the treaty itself).

I didn't realise that we had re-instituted the punishment of transportation.

You need to do better research.

Stop being so lazy and look it up.

Why have you changed what I said ?

ā€˜ PeopleĀ like youā€™

That was what was used. If the peace process is broken and trouble starts again, unfortunately people will use violence. You donā€™t have the power to break the process, but those that have are egged on by people like you, who both not understand or give a toss.Ā
Would you be brave enough to go to Ireland and preach about something you clearly donā€™t understand or give a hoot about.Ā
A similar scenario is the taking of the knee, the government for their own gain wanted to ā€˜ stoke the fires ā€˜. They were egged on by their supporters. When it all went wrong on them after their ā€˜ opinions ā€˜ gave the green light to racially abuse a number of black players they quickly changed tack.
