BigFish 1,999 Posted April 19, 2020 (edited) Whatever can have prompted this mass concern with a long dead pedophile when it is coming clear that people have died due to the slow reaction of our government and a PM that couldn't be arsed to even turn up to the Cobra meetings? A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step Edited April 19, 2020 by BigFish

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step As was pointed out, the COBRA meetings have a mixture of attendees depending on the subject Boris did not have to be there ! A single step ? You got a long long time to wait for that step !
Herman 9,895 Posted April 21, 2020 It was a national and international emergency. Of course the head man should be at the important meetings.

For swine flu, which only impacted animals Gordon Brown attended all the Cobra meetings, Similarly, during the Banking Crisis he led the meetings. It is what is called leadership. When the Covid crisis was approaching, and we already had the examples of China and Italy JOHNSON WENT ON HOLIDAY FOR 12 DAYS IN A STATELY HOME AT THE TAXPAYERS EXPENSE. He didn't work weekends, he wasn't attending meetings but he had time to go to the rugby. People have died because of his laziness and incompetence. There will be a public enquiry, we will see how the electorate react but he won't be good for him.

BigFish 1,999 Posted April 22, 2020 Looks like we have an opposition at last. Starmer just wiped the floor with Raab at PM questions on testing and lack of numbers for deaths of care home staff. Bet Johnson is pleased he is still off "sick", or is it just another of those holidays he seems to need when there is a crisis.

Well @SwindonCanary posted it so he must agree that there is no need for Johnson to attend the Cobra meetings. Might be why whenever we have a crisis he goes on holiday. What with his weekends away with his mistress, his holidays, visits to the rugby, two holidays and time off sick he can't have done much Prime Ministering this year anyway.
