Horse Renoir 1 Posted January 19, 2017 the 2011-12 season review DVD. Let them observe committed defending even when outnumbered. Fast counter attacking football, getting the ball into the box as soon as possible, passing and then crucially moving into space, rallying to comeback from behind, players busting a gut to get into the box whenever the ball is in the final third, pressing in groups etcWould be a good lesson on how to play effectively with limited resources in English football. I miss that way of playing! We created more chances by actually being less attacking in set up. We rarely bossed possession but there was more space in the final third and we created more clear cut chances. Plus watching players run with the ball at pace excited fans more than clever one-two''s that usually come to nothing.
The Great Drinkell 51 Posted January 19, 2017 Horse,IMO this isn''t just Norwich City. It''s all the teams trying to play like the Italians in the 90s the tempo and excitement seems to have gone out of the game, I''ve watch Leicester V Chelsea and Man City V Liverpool over Christmas to "big" games and fell asleep during both. - Football is now rarely an entertainment.to many teams are playing not to lose rather than to out score the opposition.
