westcoastcanary 0 Posted April 24, 2016 You have to question the Arsenal players'' mentality. They''re playing as if nothing hangs on this game even though they are at risk of being squeezed out of the CL places and their fans are in revolt at their poor showing since Christmas. Robert Barnes 20 Posted April 24, 2016 No holding back from them next week prob stuff us for as many as they can cause we are just little old Norwich from Norfolk not the big team from the northeast
unique 435 Posted April 24, 2016 I can''t imagine Arsenal being so toothless next week.

JF 694 Posted April 24, 2016 Wow. What a toothless display. Watch us make them look like barca next week now. it''s going to take a hell of an effort from here to escape
Horse Renoir 1 Posted April 24, 2016 Trying to walk the ball in the net against Sunderland...so typical! As everyone else has already said you just know they''ll be more clinical next week

Indy 3,300 Posted April 24, 2016 Sunderland battled for the full 90, organised and gave little room at the back........we shall see if AN can get the same out of our team next weekend, no point in saying Arsenal weren''t good to be fair Sunderland defended pretty well. Robert Barnes 20 Posted April 24, 2016 Any other time arsenal would have stuffed them for 3 or
......and Smith must score. 1,343 Posted April 24, 2016 Not great to be in the bottom three again with next week''s trip to the Emirates. At least neither Newcastle or Sunderland won this weekend but it''s looking more and more likely we''ll be playing Championship football again next term. Spillay 180 Posted April 24, 2016 No surprise really, although Liverpool, Citeh and Arsenal have been crap, Sunderland & Toon have shown grit and determination that our players just dont seem to have. Had we been 2-0 down at Anfield would we have come back? Just not been good enough, not beaten the teams around us when we desperately needed to, every opportunity (Swansea, Palace, Sunderland etc) to pull clear thrown away with woeful displays. I pray for a miracle in the last 4 games, but thats all it is, a prayer.
Bomber 48 Posted April 24, 2016 We might be tied on points but think next weekend we will be adrift with us at Arsenal and the other two with teams who have nothing to play for - you can just see Arsenal next week being totally fired up and us wilting under the pressure getting two or three put past us - just being realistic
westcoastcanary 0 Posted April 24, 2016 [quote user="Herman "]They''ll be back to being the Invincibles next week. Cantiaci Canary 557 Posted April 24, 2016 As frustrating as it is ... we can''t complain about where we are. We''ve been beaten by Villa, Sunderland, Newcastle, Palace (twice), Swansea, WBA, Bournemouth, Watford ...What''s also hurt us is the fellow promoted sides have something about them, Leicester have gone bonkers and Sunderland got Big Sam in with just enough time spare. We can''t begrudge the other scrappers getting unlikely points ... we have taken something from ManC, Liverpool, Arsenal and ManU too. JF 694 Posted April 24, 2016 Newcastle home to palace next week and Sunderland away to Stoke. Being realistic you would have to fancy Newcastle from here. I think we are finished but it''s football so guess you never quite know
norfolkngood 1,087 Posted April 24, 2016 So we didn''t show any grit or determination against West Brom or Newcastle? we didnt show it when it mattered last week !! if we had won or drawn that game we would still be out the bottom 3 also hand on heart do you think we can play like sunderland did today for the rest of the season because we are going to have to if we have a chance of staying up !! Clever Farke 64 Posted April 24, 2016 Newcastle and Sunlun have showed the same grit as we did v West Brom, Man C and Newcastle. The difference is an injury to our key player Timm Klose has completely stuffed us, otherwise both North East clubs would already be relegated in my opinion. Small margins but that''s the way the cookie crumbles.
