kick it off 2,062 Posted April 12, 2015 Anyone got any ideas on what our allocation is or how many we''ve sold? I saw Cardiff were only offered 500 tickets or 1000 with escorted travel so decided to boycott the match, although I understand that''s to do with police concerns about their fans behaviour in previous years, and I doubt we would be subjected to restrictions of that manner.I would assume in a 38k stadium with an average crowd of 24k that we could have almost as many as we like, however with it being a Tuesday night and a fair old trek from Norfolk, we probably won''t travel in our usual numbers.I''ve got my tickets, but just wondered if anyone has any ideas on how many of us will be there? Syteanric 1 Posted April 12, 2015 7 cardiff fans made the journey yesterday..they should be given free away tickets and travel to their next game for that!
kick it off 2,062 Posted April 12, 2015 If they did, then they sat in the "home" section, as there was no away section at all - Cardiff officially declined the allocation so there were no tickets officially available to Cardiff fans.Fair play to them for doing it though, Cardiff didn''t decide to boycott until Wednesday/Thursday so I''m sure other fans would have made travel arrangements and likely attended in the home end. Syteanric 1 Posted April 12, 2015 it was mentioned during the commentary in our game.perhaps there was pay on the gate?Cant see leeds selling out
Jem 2 Posted April 12, 2015 Not sure on allocation but when I bought mine last week was told by box office they expected to sell out our allocation
Jem 2 Posted April 12, 2015 Am sure it will be over 1,
Excited Canary 19 Posted April 12, 2015 There were 7 or so Cardiff fans and they were in the away section - the club gave special concession to fans who hadn''t missed a game in years and wanted to continue their streak!
kick it off 2,062 Posted April 12, 2015 Ah fair enough - no-one know what allocation we have for Leeds then?
clarkey1972 0 Posted April 12, 2015 Hope its not sold out I am hoping to pay on the night. As are many other northern based fans I think
Branston Pickle 4,169 Posted April 12, 2015 According to the football grounds guide there''s an allocation of 3,000 for away fans - we''ll surely not take that many on a ''school night'', but there was a Club offer on for both tickets and travel.
Highland Canary 78 Posted April 12, 2015 Can''t do this one but amazed how few we took to Bolton at a weekend. Very disappointing turnout.
TIL 1010 5,303 Posted April 12, 2015
Can''t do this one but amazed how few we took to Bolton at a weekend. Very disappointing turnout.
2,100 in a crowd of 16,027 according to the Bolton Evening News.
Paul Green 5 Posted April 12, 2015 We have sold just under 2500 and with pay on the day we are expecting to sell out.
Highland Canary 78 Posted April 12, 2015 I just think 2100 is incredibly low given what''s at stake and the availability at the Macron.
Branston Pickle 4,169 Posted April 12, 2015 I personally think 2100 at Bolton is pretty good given the distance and expense involved, and that the discounted Leeds game is only a few days later. Most people don''t have the cash (or time) to go to every match and have to make choices.
Excited Canary 19 Posted April 12, 2015 Our numbers have been good this season on the whole but I can''t be the only one a bit annoyed by our lack of noise at times. Big followings at Brighton (particularly bad imo) Birmingham, Forest, Millwall etc and yet only a few little pockets seem to want to get involved! Every away game I''ve been too the pre match concourse atmosphere has been far more entertaining...let''s hope Leeds is better! OTBC
Faded Jaded Semi Plastic SOB 1,234 Posted April 12, 2015 I see Highland Canary has turned his negative opinion of all things NCFC onto to the fans.......
king canary 8,944 Posted April 12, 2015 I''ve been to a fair few away games this year and been impressed with the atmosphere at all of them- maybe I''ve just been lucky.
kick it off 2,062 Posted April 12, 2015 Away atmosphere is usually pretty good. - 2500+ sounds good to me, outstanding in fact on a "school night".
BOO 0 Posted April 12, 2015 Away support is usually good, apart from the few knobs that turn up!

judderman 0 Posted April 14, 2015 Just a warning to the poster above and anyone else planning to pay on the gate tonight. It''ll probably cost £39, £5 pay on the gate fee at Elland Road and I assume the £10 discount provided by Norwich won''t apply. If it''s possibly ring the ticket office and pay more while its not too late
