1. When Delia and MWJ took over the club in our hour of need how much did they pay for their majority shareholding? I know they put money into the club in terms of interest free loans but with these being now paid back in full I wonder how much they actually invested to secure their majority? Was this figure ever divulged and who were their shares bought from? Genuinely interested as I was out of the country when this occurred and have no idea about the deals that took place.
2. You make a fair point LDC but it is not out of the realms of possibilities that a benefactor/investor could be found who meets these requirements. However, her current statement rules out the possibility of that ever being looked at let alone happening so the train set anology still stands!
3. So, Delia has said they will not even listen to enquiries let alone sell the club. At least we now know their position and this will undoubtedly lead us to be further left behind in terms of finances in comparison to many of our peers. What has happened to her stance of saying she would always do what''s best for the club? Also, states that she really feels for the fans but in the same article says that we won''t like NT taking over from them. Little point in chasing promotion as if we get back up we will be just left further behind on the field.
4. After 8 home games this season we have only managed 2 clean sheets and they were in the first 2 games. Stating the obvious but we really need a clean sheet to get anything from today''s game. I think we may do it , thus a 1-0 win for us.
5. One could say most of the ''Happy Clappers'' have given up but that would be inflammatory!😉😉
6. As was explained when this was previously brought up earlier in the week the payment to McNally was more than likely in lieu of his notice period. In a position such as McNally''s was the notice period is generally a relatively long time from both parties and to enable McNally to leave immediately his notice period will have been paid up. If you look at the figure it equates to about 18 months which is not unusual for a position like this. Whether its right is another question and his bonus on our previous relegation was disgusting.
7. I was certainly no fan of McNally but surely his payoff was in lieu of his notice period. There would no doubt be a lengthy notice period for both sides in his contract and as his position became untenable due to his resignation the club were obliged to pay him the notice period for him to go immediately. A rough guess taking the amount into consideration was probably an 18 month notice period.
8. Just to be a pedant we beat Bournemouth 1-2 in AN first game (sort of)!😆
9.
Ron, any suggestions on how to deal with an ingrowing toenail, without resorting to hospital?
Well I tend to get a block of ice and hold it on the painful area till it goes numb! This gives you about a two minute pain free period to get the scalpel, or in my case a rusty old kitchen knife, in and do your worst. Hope this helps!
10.
Happy to help Mr. Neuf. [:P]
😂
11. Well they probably will KIO but they''ll likely be more expensive than one of the major four supermarket chains and they would have a better choice. As to Kodi/streaming queries I have no problem answering peoples queries and will always try to help. We do argue about the most stupid things on here sometimes! Anyway COYY, got a good feeling for tonight!
12. No Whittaker in the squad, injured or being saved for Saturday?😨 Leeds fans don''t rate their chances with their team, twitter.com/LUFC/status/79…
13. Hi VW its on bein12 as far as I know, if you''ve got an android device use Mobdro, there stream is usually really good. If not Kodi are showing it, try UKTV again for channels if not go on Sportsdevil who will have streams through firstrow etc. These can be quite good at times as they''re Acestream stream which have a good bitrate. There is also a stream on Saturday for the Brighton game, for channels showing it check, liveonsat.com! COYY Leeds fans aren''t happy about their team, twitter.com/LUFC/status/79…
14. If the EFL go by their current standards, jack sh1t will be done about it.
15. Sorry TG, just had a word with my man at the club and ''itk'' and the white board is in perfect condition in the home dressing room, guess your source doesn''t ''check out'' as well as you think! 😁
16. As above, a bit surprised, thought he would have been given a bit more time to settle what is a relatively new squad but results are the be all and end all.
17. If answering two of your posts is following you around then guilty as charged! Off to bed now anyway, got to be up early off to Brands Hatch to watch my son race! BTW, who were those posters?
18. Well my opinion would be a mixture of both probably, but Imnot the manager so I count for very little in the grand scheme of things!
19. I don''t profess to now which team is better, was asking for your opinion.
20. Nige, who said the players aren''t good enough. Names please. Are they the same posters that are saying we have the best in the league now. Interested to find out if they said nthat and then changed their minds!
21.
Which team is stronger? Todays? Or the one that beat Everton?
You tell us Nigel.
