  1. No shows away are very difficult to take Monty, but that categorically wasn''t the case against Cardiff and West Ham, where we definitely did not fail to offer competition and meekly surrendered. There were mistakes at the back and we didn''t take our chances, but that''s not the same thing.
  2. Ignore wiki, just type "ya''" into Google and see what comes up. Anyhoo, back to the football....
  3. Y’all (/jɔːl/ yawl) is a contraction of the words "you" and "all". It is used as a plural second-person pronoun. Commonly believed to have originated in the Southern United States, it is primarily associated with Southern American English, African-American Vernacular English, and some dialects of the Western United States.[2] It is also found in the English-speaking islands of the West Indies as well as in the Canadian province of Alberta. My apologies Houston, no wonder Wikipedia''s free....!
  4. Whilst I''m a great admirer of your general NCFC positivity KTF, tomorrow really is a game from which we should be looking to take all three points.
  5. Pretty confident of a 2-1 win this Saturday.
  6. Fuzzar wrote the following post at 2014-02-12 11:58 PM: I''m not convinced that changing the manager now would make a substantive difference. I suspect the Board are now hoping we limp over the line and will re-assess at the end of the season. Rightly or wrongly they didn''t make the change when a new manager could have had a positive effect. Had we lost to Hull, it''s my belief that Lennon would have been offered the post, and maybe he could have galvanised us but I doubt whether he would come in in caretaker capacity. "Oh so close Fuzzar, nail and head, but watch this space!" City2nd To be fair City2nd, you do rather give the impression in your posts that you actually have inside information, as opposed to posting that it''s merely your opinion.
  7. And would be attracted by fact he''d never have to fly with us.
  8. Most people don''t want to put their heads above the parapet GMD and actually predict, as it provides their `opponents'' a ready-made stick with which to beat them. As I habitually get things wrong, it really doesn''t matter a monkey''s tup to me. [;)]
  9. "On what basis are we going to win at swansea and draw at man utd!? Have you actually watched us away from home these past few months? Honestly, i''m geniunely intrigued?" Well Tony, I''d just bumped my previous predictions as what''s the point of predicting so many games in advance each time one round of games has been played? But while I am less optimistic given the last two results, WBA managed a win away against Swansea and their form is pretty terrible. And we''ve done OK against them recently. And I reckon anyone''s got a chance against Man U at the moment and it could well be sh!t or bust by then, which might make us a little more adventurous.
  10. My predictions from the pre-Stoke game thread... Stoke - Draw Southampton - Lose Sunderland - Win Swansea - Win West Brom - Draw Fulham - Lose 8 points, a point each from Man U away and Arsenal at home, 38 points, but safe
  11. Agree. Wouldn''t be in a hurry to throw the baby out with the bathwater.
  12. Enough is enough is enough I can''t go on, I can''t go on no more no Enough is enough is enough I want him out, I want him out that door now I feel your pain AA. And hope it hasn''t driven you back to the drink.
  13. It''s Character Forming "It would be great to have games against Prem clubs in the E Mids so got to be Leicester, Forest and Derby." ^This. And if we are looking at changing manager in the summer, I hope Burnley just miss out as I quite like the cut of Dyche''s jib.
  14. Thank God. I actually had to talk to my family last night.
  15. I''ll think about it Jimmy, but will need your detailed notes on how he trains this week relative to our other strikers.
  16. Don''t give up the day job. Unless, of course, you''re a comedian.
  17. Jeez Lincoln. Did you really need to quote the whole thing? My scroll wheel finger needs a lie down. Good post by the way, Mr Brigham.
  18. Agree with everyone, bar pigman. Sorry pigman. I''ve been impressed with his first touch - a couple of occasions after he''d come on against Spurs were particularly good. And generally is all-round play has been commendable. Just needs to rediscover his nose for goal. And sharpish.
  19. Realistically, can''t see us getting much change from Liverpool at home and Chelsea away. But am hopeful of a point each against Man U away and Arsenal at home.
  20. On the plus side Lincoln, if CH freezes him out for the rest of the season, there''s an outside chance he might sign for Reading.
  21. Generally I follow the rule of believing half of what I see and nothing of what I hear.
  22. Hope he brings this form into the weekend...he''s playing well.
  23. Stoke - Draw Southampton - Lose Sunderland - Win Swansea - Win West Brom - Draw Fulham - Lose 8 points, a point each from Man U away and Arsenal at home, 38 points, but safe[:)]
