1. A net spend of 4.5 Million from a massively increased revenue. A defence that has been leaking goals at a lower level not addressed. The whole of europe to scour for improvements! Personnel paid a lot of money to perform the above. The fans are let down again. Its a shambles whichever way you look at it. Wait till Man city, Chelsea, Arsenal etc... away. Get ready to look through your fingers!
2. The fact you are worried Ricardo, worries me. You are a level headed poster that can normally step back and put things into perspective. The fact you are astonished at the incompetence of this transfer window speaks volumes. I think the board are likely to recieve some incoming this time should we be detached by Xmas. I truly believe that we entered this division with a superior squad to enough teams to survive pretty comfortably. I am no longer of that opinion. In fact if Mbokani turns out to be hopeless then we are probably the worst squad in the prem. Spending 4 Million in a season when the Money is due to go up drastically next season but parachute payments shortened is incompetence without comprehension. So much so that heads must role. I truly believe that there are problems with squad harmony and their is more to this than meets the eye. I really don''t understand how Lafferty and Grabban have remained but BJ has been shipped out. Its madness. We await the clubs spin on it. A few heavy defeats in the coming weeks and a reaction is incoming!
3. This bloke can pack his bags and * off whence he came! Only we could employ him with a CV including the burnley mess up. Look where that led despite a great spirit. What a total and utter oxygen thief this man must be!
4. I think there is something going on at the club that is causing squad disruption. I don''t think the Johnson transfer was planned at all. It''s not our boards way. I think Johnson wanted to leave as he was not happy with goings on. Players talk to players from other clubs and are probably aware of stuff going on. Therefore players not wanting to join us. I think we are in a complete mess. This window just does not make sense.
5. We should of got rid. As for people saying he will be grovelling. I disagree, footballers these days don''t have to. They just get paid loads, do what they want, talk through an agent and if they fall out with a club. They basically leave get a lump sum for there troubles and get some other mug to pay them for being a crap footballer and human being. It''s a joke how easy they have it.
6. Given the jubilation following the play off victory, sealing our return to the prem at a time when the largest TV deal in history had just been confirmed. The anticipation of who we may sign was at an all time high. 1. Given that it has just ended. Is this the most deflating transfer window of all your time as a supporter? 2. Do you think it will seal our relegation back to the championship?
7. With a fire sale today of most of our squad. Are the club close to administration following a wild weekend away in Vegas involving the whole board!?
8. Given how many are leaving we must have spent some serious cash.
9. It''s just the same old safe prudence. We are heading back to the championship again. This defence could not Cope last season let alone this! McNally did take a large bonus the season we went down! So yes his bonus is financially related and not football!!
10. If not may be a pleasant surprise. He normally States business is done on Twitter?
11. What a load of tosh, it was reported this morning that he has joined up with the international squad for training while his future is yet to be decided. So he is defo not training with Stoke. Where did you get this info?
12. BUSY AT NORWICH There could be two ins at Norwich today and one out. Our reporter Chris Hull has the latest... He said: “Dynamo Kiev striker Dieumerci Mbokani has been secured, initially on a one-season loan, but that’s with a view to a permanent deal. “Also, Danish international defender Erik Sviatchenko could be on his way from FC Midjtylland for £2.2m. “Don’t rule out another bid from Bournemouth for Lewis Grabban, and also potentially leaving Norwich today on loans are record signing Ricky van Wolfswinkel – who joined two summers ago for £10m – Gary Hooper, Elliott Bennett and also Kyle Lafferty.”
13. Make this happen and get rid of Lafferty as part of the deal. He deserves a club like wolves.
14.

I don''t like half and halfs at all, but if we''d gone for the image suggested by a previous poster (below), then I could have at least felt they had done a good job of a bad idea. The shirt with the box is a bad job of a bad idea.
Now, I DO LIKE THAT !
You might… but the Brand Manager at Aviva will point you to the "Do''s and Dont''s" of his Corporate Identity Manual. Section 3.1.2: Exclusion Zones. Keylines are not normally used in Blue Chip logo design. With a half and half design you have one colour too light to carry a white logo and another too dark to show the blue. Therefore you introduce the exclusion zone, where no colour is allowed to intrude on the logo safe area so that it achieves prominence across the print and TV media etc etc.Aviva are paying the big wedge to have their logo appear in the Premier League therefore they get to carry the day. Since the big wedge has been in football it has always been thus… unless you get sufficient numbers up to protest outside the Director''s Entrance at Carrow Road ala Toon and St James Park / MikeAshleyDrome.Personally, I think it looks fine.
The kit shown here is spot on, In fact I love it. The one we have got is awful. Whoever gets paid wedge for designing this should be replaced by whoever did this one!!
15. I wanted one similar to the 1989 - 1992 shirt. This was a nice shirt. This new one is shocking!
16. Bethnal, If your good enough your old enough. This lad is good enough now to demand a place in our team. He is top class and if we don''t move now we are likely to never get the chance. I see a big club purchasing him this year and loaning him back. That old chestnut that the big clubs now do with their pocket money. We gambled 10 million on the wolf and that failed, so why not on a home grown talent at an age ready to play and make his mark. I would argue that he is totally the type of player we should be going for. I see him being a Bale size transfer at some point in the next 5 years.
17. One player we should seriously consider is Zac Clough from Bolton. Living in Bolton, I had the pleasure of seeing him a few times this season (Next door neighbour gets free tickets) My next door neighbour is not a Bolton fan either! He said to me "wait till you see this Zac Clough, he is on a different level to the rest of them" this was proved correct at the 2 games I got to see him play. He has great feet, vision and is to good for the players around him if anything. He can see a pass the others don''t think of, hence they don''t make the run. However if they had.... I can see this lad being one of the next big things in the Prem over the coming years and as such he could give us a couple of exciting seasons and a nice profit at the end. He would cost a few quid (8-10 million at a guess) however this could be a very shrewd investment. With Bolton in debt they may need to sell. However they will not let go of him easy. For me this is the type of player we should be looking at along with some cheaper experienced heads still with a point to prove as squad additions. Go get ZAC!
18.
Guys, Looks like your ticket situation is significantly worse than ours, it seems quiet complicated with very few tikcets going on generalsale. For Boro, 21,000 ticket sold to season tickets holders and Boro pride members and the rest went on sale this morning and have gone. It''s been bedlam with on-line tickets and phone numbers all crashing out, you would think ticket master could get it right. I hope it goes better with your tickets, loads of regulars who don''t have season tickets have not managed to get tickets so god knows who is buying them !! And yes, compared to you guys our attendances over the last few season have been very low, we averaged 32,000 in 2005 down to 28,000 in 2009 and then relegation has seen that drop steadily to an average of 16,00 last season. I think you''ll see a lot of old Boro shirts at Wembley on Monday ! That said, plastic fans or not, ask any Brentford fan about the atmosphere on Friday night, 33,000 fans make a lot of noise ! Here looking forward to a great final and the end of one hell of a season for both clubs
Fair-weather fans, jumping on a bandwagon or what! We had relegation to League 1 and the fans still stayed.
19. There is no way this will be a friendly final as so much rides on it. The best we can hope for is a fair game with no bad decisions deciding it either way. A cup final 30 years ago is a long way from a Championship play off final. This game will have a massive effect on both clubs over the next 10 years.
20. Please god don''t let this be so! The passbook to the keeper rule has been a great one. Why would we change this back. Surely we are not going back to the old days of teams rolling it out to the keeper playing it around the back and then back again. Teams holding onto leads wasting endless time going back to the keeper. Liverpool were masters of this in their day. Please NO!
21. Its also only about 10mins down the M40 after the M25. Its about a minute off the M40 too. I always use this for Wembley or going to Central London for a weekend
22. Hillingdon is a good place to park for Wembley. It has a large car park and is only about 20mins by tube. It is only a pound to park there too.
23. Totally agree with the first part of this, part of football coaching is to try and create 1 on 1 situations in a football match and then to get at the man in these situations. Saturday was a perfect example of what is wrong with redmond. He was played the ball in front of him and with a defender making backtracking to stay goal side while Ipswich were pressed up to near the half way line. This created a perfect opportunity for Redmond to just play the ball past him and get on his bike as the defender would have needed to turn and try to recover. Redmond should have gone straight at him and been clear through. However he stopped the ball and then faced up to the defender to wait for support. He does this time and time again on the edge of the box, most the time deciding to pass to whittacker behind him. He should be getting at the man into the box as the defender will be dreading this situation and having to make a tackle in the box. He is a poor footballer or one low on confidence.
24. With the amount at stake in this game maybe its the time to stick with what you know. However sometimes big decisions are the difference between greatness and mediocre. Therefore I would play what I consider the best team to cope with the Ipswich direct play from defence to attack and play our best players to try and dominate the ball on the ground. I truly believe we are a superior team and as such we should play our best players in this game. We may not have that luxury in a few seasons if we don''t make it count right now. Therefore I would go for: Ruddy Whittacker Bennett Bassong Olsson Dorrans Tettey Howson Johnson Hoolahan Jerome Hooper as an impact sub! OTBC
