  1. Agreed. But I'd have The Trashman as the mascot. For the uninitiated:
  2. I don't think so - both of them are quite well known for being decent blokes outside of their careers. Well, as much as it can 'be known' without personally knowing them... Am pleased for the club and the place itself.
  3. I'd agree with you, but I think he'll score a better one if he stays fit!
  4. With the best will in the world, Hugill's technical ability is not (currently) on par with the quality of the rest of the team. If it was - at his height and strength - he wouldn't be playing for us. I don't think it can be questioned that Drmic has a higher level of technical ability than Hugill, but lacks the same physical presence. However, were it not for the finances involved, Drmic would be starting ahead of Hugill for me. Hugill seems like a great character, but when I find myself praising a player's character, it's normally because I've realised that they can't seem to kick/control a football very well.
  5. I'll give the club the benefit of the doubt at the moment, and assume that Sorenson, or the young irish lad (or Famewo) are capable of playing at CB, and more crucially capable of playing WELL at CB at championship level. If I see Tettey at CB at any stage this season, I may have an aneurysm.
  6. The 25 million for Godfrey was looking like a decent price for us until I found out Rhian Brewster is going to sheffield utd for 23 million, having played about 20 games in his career, almost all at championship level. Admittedly, I know very little about Brewster, but how Liverpool manage to get so much for their youngsters - and more strangely - why people are willing to pay it, baffles me.
  7. Re: Pukki, yes I believe he has, on at least one or two occasions last season. So that shows consistency in his methods, at the very least.
  8. 15 million plus decent add ons for Todd, and we consequently get to keep Pukki & Buendia? Entirely hypothetical of course, but - yep, I'll have some of that please.
  9. Leitner for home games + Trybull for away games = guaranteed promotion . Pfft, this football management lark is easy.
  10. Saw most of Derby V Blackburn. Either Derby are very cr_p, or Blackburn are very good. Guess we'll find out next week.
  11. This vaccine is taking its time as well, huh? I want to see Vrancic given a role as lead virologist.
  12. He surely would have signed Jarvis on the basis of a physio report saying that he was fully recovered. No manager would sign a player with a physio report of "will play one game, and then be borderline crippled for the next 3 seasons". I have wondered in the past what the liability is for medicals, and whether anyone has ever taken legal action against a doctor / physio on the basis of a negligent / incompetent medical? Not that I'm in favour of excessive litigation. There's enough of that already in the world.
  13. It's not working for me, and I used it the entirety of our last championship season without issue (for the most part). Seems a licencing issues. So far that's 2 matches out of 2 I haven't been able to watch, despite paying.
  14. Yes, I have no video link yet either. Cutting it a bit fine, gonna be annoyed if it faffs me about.
  15. I guess the decisive factor between those of us who only have radio versus video, is that the people who have video bought the individual match pass, but the people who only have radio (and are overseas) bought the season pass, and presumably cup games aren't included within it?
  16. Same. I also only have the radio coverage. Does anyone have access to a video stream, or is it audio only for this match?
  17. https://www.canaries.co.uk/first-team-squad/Fixtures/first-team/202021/september/luton-town-vs-norwich-city-on-05-sep-20/
  18. I just have radio coverage. Is the match not actually being shown?
  19. I used the overseas Ifollow in our championship season, and it worked great for me. A few hiccups here and there, but was vastly preferable to any other alternative.
  20. As an exiled non-ST holder, I was hoping that a similar deal to the last time we were in the championship would be available, where you could buy a season pass to streams of all the games for around £100 - £150. £10 a match pushes this up to about £500 a season, which is some price hike (although understandable due to all the pandemic income reduction).
  21. Impressed with Placheta so far. Not only is he rapid, but his all round game seems really solid as well, and is by no means a headless chicken. Is a friendly, of course, but looks like he could be a bit of a find.
  22. I'd prefer to fry him, personally. Lots of seasoning too, because he's so bland at speaking, imagine what he'd taste like.
