You might disagree with the first sentence, but you definitely can't with the second sentence, because I witnessed it with my own eyes.

And they always want a 50% pay rise every 2 years in contract renewals on Football Manager too. Mercenary (programmed) B#stards.

This post needs to moving to non-football, as it contains football. Just kidding. Sounds like a good tactical analysis, but didn't see the game in full. I think Daniel is evidently very good tactically, even so, I'm sure he's watching and picking up new things for consideration all the time.

Hope he goes on to great things - but not really with Villa, which is a puzzling choice imo. Despite trying my best to not be an 'rsehole, I will definitely NOT be able to resist the potential schadenfreude of "Aston Villa getting relegated, whilst we stay up" - hugely unlikely as that scenario is.

Two thirds of RVW is 'Wolfswinkel'. Let's not go down that road again. 😇 PS - roll on the Euros / Premier season.

CLUB STATEMENT- BK8 CONTRACT TERMINATED
Orly replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Obvs. Both of which are the removal of rights from a human. That's a line that shouldn't be crossed. Although I wouldn't ban conversation on the subject, because people will only learn by honest engagement, rather than derision which entrenches bad or immoral positions. But where moral sensibilities (which are changeable, as can be seen) are used to stigmatise what may be a legitimate and educated choice to move into modelling, only fans, p0rn, (although obvs there are people who do it out of desperation) the same argument (albeit with lesser impact) can be made that women's (or men's) rights are being restricted in a similar (but not proportional) way. Edit: re "but not proportional" - am making point that 'attitudes that may restrict economic opportunity', is not the same level of harm as slavery - just in case I actually needed to clarify that. hopefully not, but you never know these days! -

Fine with me. Redesign the crest so the canary is sitting on two balls instead👍 -

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feminist_views_on_prostitution#Pro-sex_worker_perspectives So you want people to be afraid to voice their opinions? Even entirely reasonable opposing views? What about the feminists quoted in the above link, women, who disagree with your viewpoint? Let's hope you don't find yourself in a similar position against a mob with a different opinion to you. I don't actually have a particular view on this either way. Didn't really see the fuss before, and don't really care that it's been cancelled (it was the sacking witch hunt I didn't like). But I do find the viewpoint that there is NO OTHER acceptable opinion on this more than a little concerning. Cue ad hominem attacks. -

Run out of reactions, so please accept this ethically-sound, non-sexual aubergine in recognition of a good post: 🍆 -
Will you buy an NCFC shirt with BK8 on it next season?

The best thing I've done for myself (and by proxy, for those around me) in the last 5 years is to start learning about various types of philosophy and the ethics / virtues that they discuss. Although I'm still a beginner, and have lots to learn. Religion and spirituality are in decline - these traditional bastions of ethics and morality have slowly been replaced with rampant nihilism, commercialism, or pseudo-religious socio-political movements. I'd 100% recommend reading some philosophy ('virtue-based meaning' type stuff, not necessarily Nietzsche) for anyone who feels unsettled / angry / upset within themselves or the world in its current state. It helps you AND it helps you help other people. Win / win. -
Agreed. Do people really have that much difficulty empathising with Ben Kinsella & Co even just a little bit? You think he MEANT to upset people? At worst, it's some degree of incompetence, and certainly not maleficence. We've all made mistakes in our lives. Please put away your pitchforks. It will get sorted one way or another, the board will make a decision. No need to call for people's livelihoods to be wrecked via angry mob.

Emergency canary call on Radio Norfolk

Don't take it personally, Branston. You've always been a decent chap from what I've seen on here. Just block and move on. -

That sounds an awful lot like toxic masculinity to me. At least wash it first, then it can be just masculinity. However unassuming. -

Please stop typing the word ****. I'm begging you. -
Fair enough. I'm getting rather tired of all the disingenuous nicey nicey marketing guff anyway. I'd rather we go full **** if that's what we're doing. Kevin Muscat to replace the mascot (call him Kevin Muscot, obvs). Away dressing room floor covered in upturned nails. Community work to be confined to the players mocking other, less fit people on runs, in hospital. etc
-
I couldn't give a flying **** about our sponsor. If they gave us the most money, and aren't demonstrably involved in something illegal, then who cares? Am very confused. The pics I've seen have just been of some ladies in tank tops? Tank tops no less! The jezebels! Oh, the shame! Yours Sincerely, Mary Whitehouse's ghost.

I highly doubt we will spend all of the transfer money received from Emi's sale. And to be honest, I'd rather that than pissing it away on crap loans again - depressing as either option is.

Orly replied to TeemuVanBasten's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Am decidedly pessimistic, although am trying my best to reserve judgement. That said, I remember the last game Emi missed in the championship - can't remember against who. I was sure we were going to lose. Instead, we gave the most clear cut example of dominant Farke-ball I'd seen, and that was with NO Emi, so perhaps I should stop peeing in my pants and keep the faith. -
Emi Buendia - clap or boo?
Orly replied to Hank shoots Skyler's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Same with all unrequited love interests who think they've moved on to bigger and better things. Slash the new bloke's tyres, and start a rumour anonymously about him having a little willy on an online message board. PS - You heard about the size of Aston Villas transfer budget now? Is teeny. -
Am in, if it doesn't break the bank.

Looked innocent enough first time. Replay from other angle shows just how far away he was from the ball though.
