  1. With all the revelations of the past 24 hours, this one tonight may prove to be the most consequential..
  2. We'd walk that league. Just as we have the last two seasons we were in it.
  3. Yes, given the state of the Championship teams, absolutely walk it mate....
  4. ... and every day now we are learning why so few Republicans voted to authorize the Jan 06 Commission.
  5. The thought strikes me with tonight’s Jan 6th committee revelations, Senator Joe Manchin either has had a terrible sequence of bad luck with his pronouncements being overtaken by events, or he’s also in on deflection from the GOP’s acts of subversion - as the self- anointed “moderate Democratic Senator” which is it Joe?
  6. ... these revelations about texts from Hannity, Kilmede and Ingram to Meadows (and quite pathetic pleading from Don Jr) alongside their simultaneous and continuous downplaying of the insurrection and blaming ANTIFA for the violence, is probably why Chris Wallace of Fox unexpectedly bailed on Sunday.
  7. Major revelations tonight - the Jan 06 Committee are doing sterling work... take aways are that Meadows (and eventually Trump) are in deep legal do do .... and so are Murdoch and Fox Network...
  8. The revelations just keep on coming - why was Trump appointed Post Office administrator DeJoy experimenting with cell phone based voting, wasn't sabotaging Mail-In ballots enough? Or was he executing the time tested Russian technique of "create chaos, any chaos, now exploit the chaos" ?
  9. One things is obvious from Saturday, we need Kabak in the team. He is a real scoring threat.
  10. As the saying goes, "with friends like these, who needs enemies" - the so called "moderate Democrat" Joe Manchin still refusing to commit his vote to the Build Back Better plan. At this point it's just spite and possibly blackmail from this multi-millionaire coal stock owning Senator.
  11. And this is why the Republicans are desperately trying to shut down the investigation, several of them were "in" on the plan - and not just the flame throwers like Green-Taylor and Boebart....
  12. This is just embarrassing from the 'Niners. Three points in the second half of both the last two games? How exactly can you go from scoring at will and leading by more than two touchdowns at half time to scoring just one more field goal and losing (Seahawks) or tying and fortunately winning in overtime (Bengals) the game?
  13. The difference between Uncle Fred's and your posts Pete is his dry humor, you just come across as a bore. Your's welcome.
  14. Meanwhile, Washington, Ravens and Raiders absolutely getting their clocks cleaned by the Cowboys, Browns and Chiefs … 9 points between them v 83 against.
  15. Green Bay Packers. Then we can still be broke.
  16. But the gap isn't growing is it? Watford lost, Leeds lost, Southampton lost. Of all the teams in the bottom 6 only Burnley managed to grind out a draw. Crystal Palace play Everton play later so depending on the result that could be 7 teams realistically in the relegation mix.

    Ah thanks for that explanation.
  18. The two racers on equal points set up to duke it out over the last lap of the last race of the season - yeah give me some more of that please.

Cars required to maintain their distance when the safety car comes out seems the most logical rule change, but hey ho, what's not to like from a sporting scandal?

See what Brexit gets us? Year after year of British success and now we lost to a Dutchman. Thanks Boris.
  21. Yet another absurd penalty given, which in this case favours us. One James Maddison buys a penalty against Newcastle. I can see why the ref gave it, but how VAR didn't overrule that decision and JM didn't get booked I have no idea.
  22. He played well? Granted he didn't play badly but he gave away the penalty, and on every occasion he had to go outside his man he turned back inside rather than putting a cross in.
  23. Definite silver lining. Dean was never going to drop his club captain at the beginning of his tenure, but now there is a non-controversial reason to leave Hanley to contribute from the dressing room and put better suited PL quality players like Kabak or AO alongside Gibson. And while he's at it, put Sorenson and Norman in front of them, and send Gilmore back.
