  1. I am sorry to hear about the injuries, I would not wish that on anyone, but oh no - say this isn't true ! 'I think he would like to go' - Lambert admits Judge is keen on QPR move
  2. That's why I suggested he's gone with maybe a years salary. If we had to pay up all three years, then NCFC should try to sell him for whatever money they can get, even if they still had to subsidise a portion of his salary over that timeframe.
  3. Will we wear our red kit today?
  4. Unless the player and club agree otherwise, a player with three years left on his contract is owed three years of wages though, that is irrespective of whether he is transferred, so for the club the judgement is - what can we get for him v what are we committed to pay him? Agreeing to terminate a contract implies both sides see financial advantage to changing the status quo. As a free agent he can ask for higher wages as any new club will not also have to pay a transfer feee. NCFC lose any transfer fee, but reduce their future wage commitments - possibly for 2020 21, and 2021-22 but not this season, IMO.
  5. Typical Sky "reporting" They have been significantly outspent by fellow promoted sides Aston Villa and Sheffield United, who have both made several eye-catching signings Um yeah, as we have only reported spending £750K plus loans fees... but who is the "eye-catching" signings for those two? Villa : Mings and El Ghazi were in the squad last year - £28m right there. Tagget and Konza hardly household names, another £26m. So I guess the "names" are Luiz and Wesley - another £37m. Like Fulham over £100m spent, but all we know is it's £100m spent. Sheff : Freeman and Robinson from QPR & Preston for £12m, plus Mousett from Bournemouth for £10m. We'll see how that goes.
  6. Five million - that's a laugh. How about 100,000 now, and another 150,000 if he's any good.
  7. you mean - Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson You can see why , deep down, the Brexiteer crowd won't trust him.... he's not pure bred enough to be "a proper Englishman" Johnson was born to British parents on 19 June 1964 on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. His birth was registered both with the U.S authorities and with New York City's British Consulate, thereby granting him both American and British citizenship. Johnson's maternal grandfather was the lawyer Sir James Fawcett. Johnson's paternal great-grandfather was a Circassian-Turkish journalist Ali Kemal who was a secular Muslim; on his father's side he also has English and French ancestry, including descents from King George II of Great Britain. Johnson's mother was Charlotte Fawcett; an artist from a family of liberal intellectuals, she had married Stanley in 1963, prior to their move to the U.S. She is the granddaughter of Elias Avery Lowe, a palaeographer, who was a Russian Jewish immigrant to the U.S., and Helen Tracy Lowe-Porter, a translator of Thomas Mann. Through Elias, Johnson is descended from an Orthodox rabbi from Lithuania. In reference to his varied ancestry, Johnson has described himself as a "one-man melting pot"—with a combination of Muslims, Jews, and Christians as great-grandparents. Johnson was given the middle name "Boris" after a Russian émigré his parents had once met.
  8. Just wait until we are joint top of the league heading into the Man City game ...
  9. Kit sales won't make a bit of difference to club income compared to TV rights. But back to a white kit - we could do a lot worse than a version of last years shirt. Something like this -
  10. We wore red in 71-72 when we went up as D2 champions, and more recently in 01-02 and 07-08. So I don’t have a problem with red , but I do have a problem with it being described as the “away” kit. It should just be our “change” kit, which we will need for two league games only - Wolves and Watford. Changing from yellow and green drives me nuts, it is “us”’and our brand as well marketing department .... not red or sky blue or purple or lime green. I’d still also like to see a white and green trim or black and green trim kit please. Those colors wear better than our yellow on me personally.
  11. can We just have a white and green version of our first team kit please, or a Celtic knockoff?
  12. That would be entertaining, but the Tampa Bay Rowdies don’t have a cheerleader squad, which is why NCFC were greeted by the Tampa Bay Lighting hockey cheerleaders. Still, nice idea
  13. Wow, if this is true that sound like a great deal. Still speculation he's going to Forest or WBA.
  14. If I was Bielefeld's coach I'd be delighted with this performance.
  15. BTW are we waiting for Doris the tea lady to turn up with her needle and thread to sew the player's names on their shirts?
  16. If anyone has a relationship with the media department please forward this along - if you are using wifi or RJ45 ethernet of the location's IT network to provide the stream uplink STOP! Use bonded cellular instead like this https://www.liveu.tv/events
  17. Stream is back - of course it's hard time so all I can see if someone kicking the ball in the center circle 🙂 And off-line again...
  18. Yup. Has been cutting in an out for a while, but now it's gone down for good. Reporting that the web site address may have changed. That should be the end of any contract with NCFC or Archent for video streaming for this company, the technology is reliable and if you cannot do it - go!
  19. Forget the defending for a moment 😞 what I am constantly struck by is the quality of our ball control. I don't think I have ever seem a City team be able to demonstrate that until this current team. Long may that continue as one of our club traits.
  20. I take it from the comments that you are able to get the stream then Shefcanary?
  21. Mixed reaction to this in Newcastle I’m sure - never well received when the new man has been the manager of your closest rival. Still he has done it before with Villa and Brum, that worked out well didn’t it 🙂, well eventually I guess it did for Villa.
  22. In that case Delia should be told to sell the club to the Vatican then. Like Delia, the Pope is a Catholic and we already have half the colors right. And reportedly the Vatican has more money than God.... well you know what I mean....a perfect solution surely?
