  1. Awful refereeing display, truly shocking. That said, we''d still be losing anyway. My faith in this squad is becoming strained to say the least.
  2. We did play well today. Absolutely sickening to lose like that. Changes needed to be made earlier though. Jerome should have been off on the 70 IMO. I''m sure Bamford is delighted he got his 2 mins.
  3. Heart says 2-1 to the boys in yellow. Head says 0-2.
  4. When was the last time we won a game with Howson played as a right winger? Or Hoolahan on the Left? From my quick glance, it was home to Swansea... On the 7th of November. Now I''m not for one second saying that this or the other players consistently played out of position is the sole reason we could go down. But it really shoots ourselves in the foot when we essentially sacrifice an entire avenue of attack just to fit a player into the XI.
  5. Shambolic defending and a delicate mindset in my opinion. Too say we give away too many soft goals would be an understatement. Poor players can still defend well if they are well organised but organised is certainly not the word I would use for our back four. I can''t remember the last time I''ve seen such ineptitude at keeping a solid and tight line at ncfc and we''ve all seen some woeful defenders/management here. We''ve seen this squad play well and with at confidence at times this season, and much poorer squads (technically) be more successful in the past (i.e. Lamberts team). Our current inability to hit 8 yard passes suggests that morale is rock bottom and is not helped by the fact that more often than not we''ve given away a soft goal before half time and have given ourselves a mountain to climb. I''m beginning to lose confidence in the coaching and management staff here and I take no pride in saying that. I don''t see any signs that someone on or off the pitch can lift or lead the team. Naismith mentioned poor communication during the Liverpool game and he is completely right, we see our team begin to show signs of nerves and 10 minutes later we will be in full disarray as no one has bashed some heads and tried to rally the team. Beating West Ham is now unfortunately a must, the longer this run goes on the less likely we are to ever regain some confidence for the real upcoming relegation 6 pointers.
  6. DONE! http://www.ccfc.co.uk/news/article/deal-james-maddison-coventry-city-norwich-city-league-one-2933391.aspx Well, this has certainly come out of nowhere. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PITzSckCTsw Worth a watch IMO. Looks class at youth level, I love how his first thought when receiving the ball seems to be to go towards goal.
  7. An uninspiring loan deal but could be exciting if a full transfer. Quite a safe signing if under the £12m mark, proven next year if we end up in the championship. Plus he''s English which people always seem to pay buckets for.
  8. At 4-3 i was going to come on here at blast our cb''s shocking performance. But I''m not even angry now... I''m just broken, I''ve seen 3 relegations live but never felt this gutted.
  9. It was an absolutely atrocious performance, the fans have all the right to criticize it. That said, we have to believe that AN is even more upset than we all are at that showing and will ensure we are ready to perform better in the next game.
  10. Absolutely woeful first half. It''s a cliché, but the lack of movement for the first 35 minutes was unacceptable. I don''t blame Mbokani too much, the game has been played so far away from him that he''s had to drop very deep at times just to have a kick.
  11. I think he''s certainly a very good player, but I can''t see a loan deal being beneficial for any of the parties involved as it stands. I don''t see him starting regularly alone up top over CJ or Mbokani in the short-term and after his dramatic exit from Palace I suspect he wouldn''t be best pleased on the bench. Could he be worth it on a transfer? No idea how much he would cost, but I''m sure he''ll develop into being a good striker at this level. Would still be a tentative no from me though and as others have said, I think Naismith would contribute a lot more towards our survival this season.
  12. Not that this is particularly relevant to Norwich but... I could actually see this go through on a loan deal. From what I''ve been reading neither Monaco or AC Milan wan''t to commit to keeping him. Monaco have a clause in the loan deal which states they have to buy at a set price should he play one more game. AC presumably just wan''t him off the books. If he''s willing to put himself in the shop window in the Prem for half a year and Bournemouth are willing to pay his no doubt outrageous salary for AC, I see no reason why all the parties involved couldn''t see this go through. The question is, is he actually any good?
  13. I wouldn''t be too disappointed if he goes for £15m. Don''t get me wrong, I''d rather keep him, but his value will crash next Jan when (unless i''m mistaken) he is nearly out of contract. Obviously we can''t comment on what the exact current contract situation is, but we can assume there has been some talks. If he can''t commit to a new deal by the end of the season we should perhaps be looking to move him on while his stock is still high.
  14. Looks like it would be a fantastic signing if it happens. I don''t think 42k a week is too outrageous either, providing we stay in the PL. I imagine there would be some sort of wage reduction and/or a release clause for if we go down.
  15. I literally had no idea he was at Southampton... I would have loved him 2 or 3 years ago, but I would be very skeptical about him being worth the fee/wages now.
  16. I was a bit disappointed when i saw him starting over Mulumbu, but I thought he did well and showed what he can bring to the team.
  17. Thought he did very little wrong, but hey we have to moan about something am I right?
  18. I agree, we were well on top and had already been hit on the counter three times. We take off our DM and get hit three more times with no attempt to stop it. Saying we needed more strikers and attacking midfielders is naive. Wes should have come on like for like with Howson.
  19. I was surprised it took as long as it did for him to get the yellow if I''m hones. Was involved in a few big early challenges. Anyone know if he''s ever been sent off for us? He seems to be on a booking so often that you ironically have to praise his discipline for so rarely getting a second. Thought he has been superb this season. He''s the big tackling engine that every team wants or needs.
  20. Very good point! We played well and had that little bit of luck. Good team selection and tactics from Alex Neil, picked the right players to carry out the game plan. I''m sure we will see Wes start the next game. Long story short, even when Liverpool are off form, a point at Anfield is still a very good result.
