  1. It's almost like the majority of supporters have lost faith with The Board and the appalling way that the club is (not) being led.
  2. The few callers on Canary Call today summed up the situation perfectly; The whole self-funding model of the club under dinosaur owners who are not putting money into the club is starting to fail. Stu Webber with so much influence over the club despite being in a notice period, and incompetent owners who cried and begged him to stay when he said he handed in his notice. Also the conflict of interest having his wife on the board. Webber's fabrication of "always having a manager lined up" when compared to the appointment of Dean Smith. And the appalling timing of Farke's sacking at Brentford away. How is this guy still at the club? What an absolute mess this club is in, with a completely clueless and rudderless Board with two 80-somthing year-old owners who are past the best and unable to make credible business decisions on how and when to change things. It was 18 (eighteen!) months ago that Attanasio expressed interest in investing in the club and we are no further along. There is a ever-growing consensus amongst long-time supporters who whilst Webber and Ward are still here will be reluctant to attend the matches, and they cannot be blamed. To be honest, Wagner should be sacked tomorrow, Webber placed on gardening leave and Adams given interim jurisdiction for the next two weeks until Knapper arrives. Otherwise this season is already over for us.
  3. Its been long established that the problems at The Club run deeper than just Wagner and the management team. But yes, Wagner and Webber have to go otherwise this season is gone.
  4. I can sympathize, it sounds very similar to my multiple run-ins with BG. The company is run so poorly and full of incompetency. Their company is purposely set up to be a disaster to try and interact with: hoard the money and then don't give it back. But then reading the other viewpoints of the other suppliers on this thread sounds like they are all as bad as each other. Parasites. The only thing I would suggest to anyone who can afford it is DONT use Direct Debit with Energy suppliers. Make them bill you and then where you are happy pay via BACS, that way you have the control (even though DD supposedly 'saves the customer money', the whole idea of 'saving money' by giving them DD is flawed as when they f*ck up, they will start playing games). Interacting with them is ten times worse when you are trying to get your money back.
  5. I hear that Mike Phelan is looking for another crack at the whip, 100% Win percentage at Norwich. 😉
  6. Good luck trying to ban private firework usage in Scotland and Northern Ireland on The Twelfth, which usually accompany the bonfires!
  7. I wonder out of a sample of 100 of the UK electorate, how many would actually put the Israel/Palestine conflict in their "top 10" reasons for voting? Answers on a postcard.
  8. Latest Bookies odds: Trump 6/4 Biden 2/1 https://www.oddschecker.com/politics/us-politics/us-presidential-election-2024/winner If you want a flavour of how much RFK's presence as a third party will dent the vote, the below web pages are a good steer: 2024 polling forecasts: https://www.270towin.com/2024-presidential-election-polls/ 2020 archive: https://www.270towin.com/2020-polls-biden-trump/
  9. Yep he's a top lawyer with a vast Library at his main office filled with legal journals: It's overseen by his Librarian, Paige Turner
  10. Don't slander him or you might hear from his Lawyer, Ivana Le Tigate!
  11. Used to watch a bit of WWF. Big Show, Kane, Undertaker, Stone Cold, Edge, Triple H, Steph and Vince McMahon etc. 👍
  12. The situation was real, but was poorly handlded by governments, and as Cambridge Canary concluded in his post many companies and individuals with a vested interest used the pandemic as a tool for scaremongering, profiteering and political purposes. Coronavirus was used as a tool for many as a sacred cow to try and railroad home certain agendas. Remember when the English government kept all the Gyms closed, but birthing wards barring fathers from child births, and funerals no more than 6 people, but allowed all of the fast food drive-throughs to re-open? To be honest, once everyone had been offered the first injection, then the 'lockdowns' should have been scrapped. The mental detriment that this caused people was disgusting. People's businesses closed for good. Employers used the pandemic as a tool to unfairly lay offt heir staff for 'fire and rehire'. It also goes to show that the incompency of the governments of borrowing obscene amounts of money for furlough with no long-term contingency of how to pay it back apart from sporadic and unbalanced taxes on energy and fuel, coupled with the follow-up of the Ukraine conflict and not being energy independent, further driving millions towards the breadline. The one that made me the angriest was the Welsh government closing "non-essential" sections of supermarkets, and shoe-horning people towards online shopping such as Amazon. As well as the government enabling mass discrimination and almost creating a fully-blown apartheid system with the 'wear a face covering' and later the 'vaccine passports'. But was the acutal virus itself a scam? No, it obviously exists, but was manipulated by many stakeholders for benefit and profit. A lot of the above scenarios add to the "scam" mantra.
  13. Hear hear. The economies of some of the developed South and Central American countries that almost soley use the US Dollar as their banking systems are untenable, and now they do not have independent currency, data or information sovereignty. The US now effectively has power of attorney over their economies. Some cities in the US have also foresaw the marginalised communities problem with regards to reliance of use of physical cash, and have legislated acceptance of USD physical cash for business transactions.
  14. Funnily enough I also know some who had this problem, and it actually reared its head a few years later and caused a huge dispute over one of their relative's estates. Maybe some stones are just best left unturned.
  15. 2019 GE turnout: 66% 2023 By-election turnout: 37% Seems that locally most ditched the SNP due to the previous MP. But in the grand scheme of things, hard to compare to 2019 as most voters stayed at home.
  16. Shop around using the comparison websites. Rarely is it beneficial renewing with the same Company.
  17. https://www.mediaite.com/politics/exclusive-robert-f-kennedy-jr-planning-to-announce-independent-run/ As previously suggested, sounds like RFK is expected to exit the Democratic Party race and run third party. Likely damage both Biden and Trump, maybe one more than the other? Depends who his VP pick is, and which states he chooses to campaign the hardest in.
  18. Until its a transparent process with audible conversation like the TMO in Rugby, eyebrows will always be raised as to the integrity of VAR and how it is being implemented by PGMOL's officials. Instead of being used to verify decisions, VAR is being used to as a tool to re-referee the games which when it was introduced, we were told would not happen. Slowing down bad challenges is a prime example. Unfortunately if THREE VAR officials failed from the footage to notice that Diaz's goal was given as offside and failed to ask the Referee to momentarily pause for clarity, then they are totally incompentent. VAR is a big reason for me why the games's gone at the top level (as well as Saudi Teams now wading in, offering players salaries that even dwarf NFL and NBA salaries...). It is only a matter of time before the Saudi Teams will be invited to play in the Champions League.
  19. TBF politically it makes sense for him to swerve the Republican debates. Whilst he has such a commanding lead, he has nothing to gain and everything to lose if he engages with all of the noise. The debates are a bit of a joke to be honest as they always let in too many candidates anyway, who poll at like 2% 😂 What's worrying now is that MTG seems to be Trump's new lapdog and will probably be his VP pick. She's disgustingly horrendous.
  20. https://www.nytimes.com/2023/09/25/us/politics/trump-glock-gun-south-carolina.html The state of that handgun! 😂😂 Legally he is not allowed to purchase a weapon as he has pending convictions 😂
  21. The best way to visualise it is demonstrated in the IFAB rules. look at the second graphic on Page 205: https://downloads.theifab.com/downloads/laws-of-the-game-2023-24?l=en
  22. "by resigning so close to a General Election" BJ resigned on 9th June. The next GE is unlikely to be until January 2025. Thats 19 months. Hardly "so close to a GE". 😂 Bu11sh1t fake outrage point-scoring leaflets like this is why most of the electorate are alienated by mainstream Political Parties and often don't participate in the vote. The Lib Dems have also lost two large demographics of voters for life in the last few GEs, one being Clegg's abandonment of free university fees in 2010 (they trebled them with the Tories in coalition). And how their party went "Hardline Remain" in 2016-2019 under Swinson, alienating any moderate eurosceptic-leaning membership of the party, forcing them back to Tories or Farage's Parties.
  23. Very unlucky as this square pass would likely be given offside by VAR as the player's head/torso is probably marginally ahead of the ball. In real time its a total coin flip for the Linesman to give it as on/off. The benefit of doubt has to be given to the attacking team. Nevertheless this decision was not anot a huge detriment to us as the game had almost gone (unlike the decsions that went against us at Southampthon away!). Norwich were second best most of the match.
