1. Just a little hunch here. Josh Murphy hasn''t travelled with the rest of the youth team on a tour to Amsterdam. Is this because he is with the first team for the Man City? Or is it because of his commitments with the England under 19 team?
2. The shirtless, bespeckled, tattooed fella used to football at Wymondham youth with me, years back. He was probably one of the worst players I''ve ever shared a pitch with. He also used to work in my local chinese in Tacolneston...
3. nah, they take in to account any money already earned in the year. There''s a threshold of "the minimum amount of money needed to live on", and if you''ve already earned over that, no dole for you...
4. Apparently Hughton''s interested in bringing Dave Watson, goalkeeping coach at BCFC and England. From what I''ve heard, he''s played a big role in the development of keepers such as Joe Hart, Ben Foster and Jack Butland, and is very highly rated at his job. What''s everyone''s views on this potential appointment?
5. I''m sorry, but am I the only person that thinks this is absolute bull?! Setanta have seen Surmans new deal and coupled it with Holty''s situation and come out with some poor journalism. 2+2=5. And from Holt''s tweet, it seems if anything that he''s happy for the guy, not angry or jealous as is claimed...
6. i think Southampton will stay up, good a good set of players, and making the right strides in their signings. I honestly think West Ham will struggle. Not really got premier league class in them, and don''t play the best football to cope in the prem.
7. I absolutely friggin love the Black kit! Looks brilliant! It won''t be a celtic style hooped kit, not enough contrast to the home shirt...
8. Apparently he''s on the whopping £63,000 a week, ridiculous! Reading have recently been taken over by some rich Russians, but still, a 4-year deal at that kind of money for a 28 year old, that''s stupid.Personally, I''m glad we aren''t shelling out stupid money for players like that.
9. seriously! he looks absolutely class!
10. But the transfer request got rejected. What I meant was, if he gets booed by a few fickle fans, it''ll leave an incredibly sour taste in his mouth, and make him wanna leave even more. And I agree that the transfer request before Drury''s testimonial was not the best of moves. Still, people need to respect that it''s Drury''s big day, and he DESERVES all the attention
11. Seen a few posts on twitter (normally by younger fans), that people will be booing Grant Holt at Adam Drury''s testimonial. Quite frankly, this has appalled me, and made me ashamed to be associated with these so-called "fans". I could go on for ages about Holt, and how much of a cult hero he has become for us, but I feel that''s been already asserted enough on this board. What really peeves me, is that a select few feel it is necessary to judge the whole situation by face-value, and boo one of Norwich''s most heroic strikers ever (and yes, I know, that''s a big statement to make), forgetting what a massive part of our club''s rise he has been. Whatever he does this summer, he doesn''t deserve that treatment, and I feel booing him could possibly make his mind up for him. What also annoys me, is the fact that they choose to do this on Drury''s testimonial. Tuesday is all about Adam, and his massive contribution and dedication to this club. It''s called the "Adam Drury Testimonial", not the "Grant Holt Speculation match". Honestly people, grow up and get a grip.

13. Definitely. Ward''s marking is so slack at times its unreal. Can''t get away with that at this level. Ward also seems to fanny about it with too much. Two of the goals were his fault because he didnt put it into row Z.
14. If any of you have played football at all in the modern game, you''ll know that Johnson tactics are all part and parcel of it. Most likely Lambert has gone to Johnson before the game, "Put that arrogant little s**t on his backside, then he won''t want to play". That''s exactly what he did to Nani in his first tackle, and from then on, he wasnt up to his usual standards. I personally though it was a good tackle, got the ball, but Nani''s pathetic reaction of feigning an injury and rolling around on the floor made the the ref''s mind up for him. Also, i though Johnson had an OK game, broke up their play well, and covered a lot of grass. Fox really ran the show though...

16. I disagree with people saying he didn''t have much fitness. I think he''s always been an incredibly naturally fit player. Just look at the season before we signed him, when he was at Shrewsbury; he covered more ground than any other player in the league. Thats some mean feat to achieve, considering he''s a striker. It really shows how much he hassles defenders and keeps working. To be honest, he just sums up everything this club is about at the moment, determination, will power, success etc. I genuinely believe he deserves a crack in an England shirt. If he finishes the season on 15+ goals, thats definitely call-up territory for an English striker in the prem.
17. At Sunderland, you was a hand rail, some stairs, and a line of stewards/police separating us from the home fans. Don''t see why we waste seats with clubs that are clearly not going to give us any bother. Only thing that I can think is that the Jarrold stand is supposed to be a "family" area, so they might wanna separate kids from abusive gestures and language (not that they don''t see it anyway).
18. Should be Hall of Famed in my opinion. Been an absolute model pro throughout the whole of his Norwich career. And still one one the best tacklers/defenders in the team. I think the reason Tierney has been getting ahead of him is purely his attacking play. AD isn''t the best (still not too bad) at getting forward, and when we play the diamond formation, you need wing-backs that can bomb forwards with pace, and provide good crosses.
19. I love hearing about this side of Lambert. Really shows how passionate he is about the team and winning. And I saw the thing with Pilks, after he got one to the crown jewels, on TV! Makes you realise the players obviously know their place with him, but absolutely respect the guy.
20. I was at the Sunderland game. O''Neill just got his tactics on Wessi spot on that game. For a start, Wes was being played way to far up the pitch and wasn''t coming back enough to collect the ball and dictate play. Secondly, O''Neill knew he was a danger man. So as soon as Wes got the ball, about 2-3 players would close him down straight away, not allowing to play at all and dictate Norwich''s game. And that''s what I liked about Wes at the Bolton game. He was dropping deep (playing a free role as such) and linking norwich''s play together and making chances (Surman''s shot against the bar was all down to his movement and play on the right wing).
21.
Why would he stay at Sprowston Manor tomorrow night when everyone will be at Sunderland?
I think that might''ve been a joke...
22. I''d never been a big fan of his attitude after one moment. I think it was against either chelsea or the game after, when Rudd was playing in goal because or Ruddy getting sent off. Basically RdL made a mistake in a back pass but had a massive go at Rudd for it, telling him to "F**k off". I thought that was ridiculous, not good on a young lads confidence in one of his Premier League games.
23.
I did swear my backide off when I heard. Already booked accommodation and trains! As it falls during a week when I am using some holiday up, i''m adding another night to the trip. Arriving Tuesday morning and travelling home Thursday morning. Hopefully the bright lights of Sunderland can keep me entertained.... Anyone know what it''s like as a place? I''ve never been before. Match ticket came today, i''m row 33 seat seven hundred and something.
I go to university there mate. It''s an alright place, a bit of a "city on the up" as such. Meaning that it''s pretty shit in some places, but being redeveloped a lot. Some places really remind of the shithole that is Thetford town centre. The locals are really friendly though, I was talking to a cabbie about Norwich, and he said that the fans there have a good relationship with Norwich, and are very accomodating. The Stadium is alright as well. It''s one of these ones where the pitch is sort of in a "pit" as in it''s lower the ground level. But they can create a really good atmosphere there when they want. I think I''m around row 37. Any ideas where everyone''s heading for a drink before the game? OTBC
