A few Fergie facts...
curly_whirly_tipz replied to flecky76's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Well under Paul Lambert maybe history can follow a similar pattern and that way I can actually enjoy it this time lol. -
I reckon Holty, Morison and Hooly will become to be the new trio - and thats only if PL reverts back to having 2 strikers up front.... Chrissy Martin has been a bit up and down but no doubt he will find himself back in the team before the season if out.

City1st.... Surely its obvious?! You hope to finish 17th or above (anything more than 17th being a bonus) and the extra money can then be used to strengthen the squad which in theory should bring a higher placed finish the following season. -
Sorry to hear you have been in hospital and hope you are much better soon. I unfortunately cant help with the tickets but worst come to worst could you buy Villa tickets on the day?

I disagree, if we scrape 17th place then we have the extra money to strengthen our squad next year. I think focus mainly more on beating the drop zone the first season and then focus on finishing higher the next season. Obviously any higher is an absolute bonus and Paul Lambert has got a winning mentality among the squad and therefore there is no reason why we cant finish higher than that. -
Villa next up
curly_whirly_tipz replied to cotswold canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I hope your boys enjoy their first game!! I was 10 when I went to my first game - was at Carrow Rd, we played QPR if I remember rightly and we drew 1-1. My first away game was some years later, probably bout 4 years, and away ti Preston we won 2-1! -
I dont make predictions as a rule - its dangerous! However I will be there so surely an extra shout might just help push the team on a bit more?!

I agree with what many have said. We have been exceeding the expected and therefore fans expect the run to continue. We have been used to winning the past few seasons also. Definately best to take it 1 game at a time with every point or 3 gained being a point or 3 towards saving us from relegationWe will lose games and as much as I hate to say it we will probably get thrashed at least once but its no use as soon as we lose, people thinking we are going to stuggle. -
Premier League goalscorers
curly_whirly_tipz replied to ABC (A Basingstoke Canary)'s topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Yes, I also think it is great that we have goals coming in from different player positions. As much as it is great to have a good striker banging them in, the team are all happy to have a go - if you dont shoot you dont score. -
Lambert cheating???

Russell Martin!
curly_whirly_tipz replied to BarclayCanary (Former HDDH)'s topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
This is clearly Irelands loss! As much as I am sure Wes would love to play for his country, Ireland are missing out on pure magic! I reckon they will call him a year before he retires and kick themselves when they realise they could have had many more years of him lol. On another note at least he is a game or 2 less of risk of getting an injury! -

Watching in pubs or going to games
curly_whirly_tipz replied to paul moy's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Watching live at the stadium wins every time... I have a season ticket so can make every home game. However I couldnt possibly afford every away game so the pub is the next best option! The pub I got to set lots of seats out theatre style and the tv gets quite a crowd in itself which creates a good atmosphere. Definately appriciate this alternative. -
Russell Martin!

Attention all you 'atmosphere' freaks

Our support home and away is better than many clubs. I guess people just comment when its not as good as it can be - but I reckon when its not so good it still beats many others! OTBC. -
"Norwich are the worst team I've seen so far."
curly_whirly_tipz replied to calriv's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
At end of the day it doesnt really matter how a Blackburn supporter saw it. We all know that wasnt the best perfomance of the season and need to forget it and move on. We still gained a point which could be very valuable at the end of the season. We cant win every game! Bring on The Villa! -
John Ruddy, Two sides to a coin!
curly_whirly_tipz replied to L4cole's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Ruddy has been excellent this season. Saturday wasnt his best game. All players have off days and thats all that needs to be said! Onwards and Upwards. Bring on The Villa - OTBC! -
