Funnily enough I remember the same question being asked last year & the year before, always stating we get an announcement of the figures. I certainly can''t remember this happening for several years. -

Disappointed at no testimonial for Wes
Year of the tiger replied to Jim Smith's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Just caught up with today''s twitter and all the arguments & difference of opinions re Wes and a testimonial for him ( a real meltdown ) Whats brought all the disagreements on is the Trust have published some notes about their q & a following their Trust AGM last Thursday and this is what they posted on their website TESTIMONIAL FOR HOOLAHAN (SW) Q: Will there be one? A: Not this season as the pitch is being replaced. There will be talks with WH to see what he wants but he is so respected by all at the Club he will be given the opportunity of a send off at the last home match. These were just brief notes which were written with good intentions to just quickly enlighten fans who didn''t go to their agm, but can I put a little more meat on the bones. I went to the Fans Groups meeting on Friday morning which was with Stuart, Steve, Tom and I actually asked the question re Wes & a testimonial Stuart''s reply was very positive & he said that yes Wes would get a testimonial, because he''s highly thought of by everyone at the club/fans, has been a loyal player and deserved one. He went on to add that they don''t know as yet if Wes will be here next year as the decision hasn''t been made yet, but whether he is or not he''ll definitely get one and they have already had discussions with Wes . He also added that if Wes isn''t going to be here next season then they''ll also do something special for him for the last game ( like they did for Ruddy) . Stuart also explained that with the CSF legends game in Mid May and then the pitch being dug up and relayed, it wont take place before next season but said they will sort something with Wes & see what he''d like to do Hope that clarify''s the situation
That is certainly the gist of what was said at the Trust meeting. But reading social media today you would think Wes had been kicked out & told never to return to Carrow Road. I guess any stick to beat the club wil do. I hope that a really special game can be arranged next season & not some Mickey Mouse rush job like some fans now appear to want. Oh and by the way the Legends game is CSF, an independent charity, not Norwich City -

Number of tickets sold. Doesn''t matter as far as attendance is concerned how many season ticket holders decided to stay in the warm. -
Thought we were very good today. We played well going forward, Murphy and Hernandez both looked like they could beat their fullbacks with ease and Maddison was pulling the strings. Vrancic was excellent from deep and seems to have caught up with the pace of the league. I also liked the fact we were willing to go forward quickly. Think we were a touch unlucky with the goals- the first one the ball just dropped very kindly for them after some really good blocks. The second one was an absolute peach of a cross. Longer term I''m not really sold on Reed- just a bit headless at times.
Actually think Reed does a better job at right back -
Such lovely well behaved boys

As usual it will be ignored. If it was the other way round it would be banner headlines in the EDT -

The op says Chelsea won 4 - 0 on Saturday so their top players didn''t suffer tiredness. Just how many of the starting line up of side that beat us started on Saturday? 4 I believe.

Season Ticket Price announced
Year of the tiger replied to daly's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Doesn''t seem to be the academy donation this year. -
His dad said at the NC fans event last night that Angus wanted to play for Norwich in the Premier League. Said it a couple of times, from which my interpretation was that if by the remotest chance we got promoted this year, Angus would be back on loan next season. The likelihood however is that he will be loaned to a lower PL club next year.

I wasn''t comparing them as players but more as having similar attributes & weaknesses albeit at a different ability level. My point was that Rosario could not be described as prolific but he was essential to the side. He is now appreciated more than he was back then -
Expected 22,500 tomorrow!
The trendy stadium entrance door/turnstile electronic ticket reader thingy that goes green when you stick your ticket in when entering the stadium.......Well, doesn''t that electronically link with all the other electronic ticket reader thingy''s in the other stadium turnstile entrances? Then the collated information from the electronic ticket reader thingy''s should give an actual and true reflection/figure of the actual attendees inside the stadium.....rather than just tickets/seats sold or whether folk actually turn up or not?....... Or do those electronic ticket reader thingy''s just indicate ''go or no go'' to the steward monitoring the entrance/turnstiles - and doesn''t therefore actually send a signal to an electronic centralised hub that will count all the green lights and those who''ve actually bothered to turn up?.....
As has been said before. In the days following Chase''s departure the crowd figure was given as actual attendees. Gordon Bennett was intent on everything being crystal clear to the fans. However after a few years it was realised that we were at a disadvantage by doing this. Ipswich always announced tickets sold & were regularly getting 1000 more than us. In reality at that time both were getting the same attendances but the commercial dept found that advertisers etc would go south as that club had bigger gates. Hence the change to bring us into line with the rest of football. -

Morris has always struck me as a good out & out target man. His hold up play is excellent, he is relatively quick but he is not a goalscorer. If you can play him in a team where the goals come from wing, no 10s, midfield etc as he did in the youth team, he can be a very affective part of the unit. However I don''t see our fans understanding that the striker isn''t your main scorer. They could never get Robert Rosario but his teammates seemed to appreciate him. -
How old was that fourth division striker we signed in 2009?

Interesting to see the highlights & it was a combination of Wes & Vrancic who put Husband through when he dived. My view of him yesterday was whilst Zimmerman, Hanley & the T& T in midfield were our best players, Vrancic was probably next. Trouble is as usual with City fans people have made up their minds & nothing is change it

This game summed up our season...

If it is poor recruitment(& I don''t agree with some of the comments) then the finger has to be pointed at Webber not Farke.I doubt that Farms had even heard of Husband or Watkins let alone seen them play. Incidentally Pritchard apparently had ice on his ankle after Tuesdays game so I can understand him being left out. Lewis has just come back from injury so ok be careful with him but don''t understand Timm or Josh
