  1. I'm not sure it will be us, but I'm convinced Leeds will fall away. It's just a question of when.
  2. Not really sure what you were expecting, DF said at the start of the month that while they were looking, he was quite happy to go with what he has. We've brought in potentially, a left sided player to 'help' should Lewis get injured with a view to next season. Several youngsters have also been signed adding potential down the line. Added to the fact that we don't have any money and the desire not to introduce an unknown quantity into the dressing room, I'm wondering what, or who you were hoping for.
  3. So over the entire season you topped us by 3,400. We have a 27,000 seat Stadium, your final home attendance was around 35,000,which means up until the final game we were around 4,500 up. No delusion here, just basic maths. Oh, and welcome to the site, unfortunately it did'nt take long for you to fall into the nasty habits prevalent on other sites you may be familiar with.
  4. Brought in to replace Harvey Barnes, big shoes to fill.
  5. From memory, I believe we had the best average attendance in League 1 that season.... up until the final game when 35,000 of them showed up to watch their Team finish a distant second. Glory boys personified. Still, they'd be an ideal fit for the Premiership.
  6. ...does that mean he has to wear a bullseye on his back and there'll be snipers in the crowd?
  7. ... trouble is kg, they're still playing it, you think things move slowly in Norfolk.
  8. I read a stat that claimed that Bielsa's Teams tend to fade as the season progresses due to the huge demands he places on his players. I can't remember where I read it, let's hope it starts this Saturday.
  9. Yes, but you backed up your argument by challenging whether Promotion was a priority. I'm not sure who should play, I'm not qualified to make a judgment either way but regardless of who is picked, it will be with the intention of getting the best result. Meaning that, for the Club, at least, Promotion is a priority.
  10. Relegation is a very different animal but what it shows is that the system itself is flawed. Every Team who is Relegated, is asset stripped of their best players, leaving the rest to try to get back. Of course, the sales will provide extra revenue to strengthen but they'll still have bang average players on Premiership contracts leaching their finances. Surely your position in any League reflects your preparedness at that time, it's only when you are promoted that this comes into question. As someone mentioned above, you don't get to choose when that happens, you have to take the opportunity when it's there.
  11. He suffered serious grief when he Managed Celtic, death threats, parcels sent to his home and comments about his family on social media. I'm no fan and if he's done wrong he deserves the sack, just shows, it's too easy to point the finger sometimes.
  12. Surely it's the only measure when determining our status next season.
