    Two points, first, no point joining a Big Club and sit on the bench for 2 years and end up going out on loan to the Championship ( see Murphy). Better to get a season in the Premiership under your belt, show your quality at that level and then leave. Second, we're going to make a fortune for them to be prised away.

    Sure we'll need to add to the squad, like we do every season, players come and go. What the OP is saying is that we should give the boys a season to see how it goes. No point spending 100 million and get relegated anyway, it would put us back to square one.

    Difficult as has been said, it's a sign that our level of performance throughout the Team has been consistently high. Whoever wins it, it will be deserved, with 15 still to play it's still up for grabs.

    I'm starting to wonder if Lambert took a red to save Nolan, if they'd gone down to 10 men before half time it could have got ugly. Lambert's 'performance ' kept 11 on the park, yes, he'll get a fine and they lost eventually but he earned brownie points with their fans and showed his players that he backs them.... just a thought.

    I think you're underestimating the back room staff, no way will Farke and his Team allow any 'cruising ' they're in a great position and there's so much at stake. If you were concerned about anything, it would be the injury to Vrancic and the rest time between games.
