    I seem to remember the same thing happening to Chris Martin when we were promoted, he got injured and by the time he was back we were headed for the Premiership and he was let go. That's how I remember it anyway and I feel Thompson could be the same, we'll need strengthening in CM if we go up and I don't think he'll be up to it.

    Not getting involved, before my time on here.... and (here I go, getting involved) I don't hold a grudge if someone doesn't agree with me, and I certainly couldn't be bothered scouring old threads to prove a point. Just saying.

    Difficult to be 'everybody's second favorite Team ' to be the 'Pride of East Anglia ' and to be 'famous ' when nobody knows who you are.

    I've just looked them up, it wasn't before or after my time, just not on my radar. I was more into metal and at that time was sharing digs with Paul Di'Anno, ex Maiden lead singer, those were the days.

    While he came across as being slightly wooden, I was impressed by what he, and other guests had to say. If he's asked about plans for the expansion of the ground or Farke's contract I want to hear a 'sober ' response. I was impressed by the amount of work going on behind the scenes, charitable causes, community involvement, fundraising etc. Makes me proud of our Club. Clearly, as was said, there's still plenty of work to be done and their demeanor was that they're focused to that end. FWIW, I hope I'm still alive to see the new City stand, we've needed an upgrade since the Jarrold was completed.

    I think Leeds have burned out and will fall away, that said, I don't want them to lose to West Brom and hand the momentum to them as I think they're much more of a threat. A draw will keep them both at arms length.... as long as we do our job at Millwall.

    I was at Wigan, first game of the season under Lambert, there were plenty of empty seats. If you're fan base isn't optimistic in August, you'll struggle to sell out in March.

    Watched the Pink Un show overnight and it seems we've got both tiers at Millwall, should be a great atmosphere.

    Take a draw all day long. They're spitting on ALTV tonight, not impressed at all, they're running scared of West Brom. If they lose that they're playing catch up.

    Just posted 3 examples why it's so tough to predict this League on another thread. We're still top and it's going to be a hell of a ride, would I swap with anybody else? No, but it's not over yet.
